  1. Entire match is available here: https://www.fullreplays.com/england/championship/leeds-vs-southampton-26-may-2024/
  2. Cheers - now realise I jumped the gun and they weren't on sale when I posted that.
  3. Not certain whether I'll go, but either way I can't seem to find where the tickets for it are on the ticket site (browsing on mobile). 🤔
  4. Trying to reflect on the match itself this morning, but it's so much harder to take everything in with the emotion of the day. The overriding feeling is that we did fantastically well at keeping Leeds at arm's length, as a few others have said. Think I need to find a download of the full 90 minutes to watch back.
  5. Would've thought it fairly obvious from the flow of that sentence that the "Maybe, just maybe..." was merely to emphasise that I feel he's always been on the up. Given the means, this is what he's capable of. Well done indeed.
  6. No, you've just shifted the goal posts.
  7. 134 next to it was fucking awful, IMO. Did my best 'ultra' impression to drive some semblance of noise and we eventually got there. But a big ol' damp squib - when I was at very least expecting what we normally get in the Northam. Still, probably not the time for that criticism. Magnificent day. Tomorrow will hurt and it's so, so justified.
  8. The 'well, he's never achieved anything' criticism of his career has gone up in flames. Maybe, just maybe, he's on the up and worth a shot at the big time.
  9. David's bang on. Martin asked for patience, then delivered. I'll hold my hands up in terms of questioning the mental fortitude of this squad. But the way they've delivered throughout the playoffs... It's been exemplary. It's folly to suggest no manager should face scrutiny. But far too many people jumped the gun this time. Have a fucking brilliant evening, everyone. 😇
  10. Yeah, I tried to get the 07.58 from Hedge End and it was utterly rammed. Got a lift to Airport Parkway and was easily able to get on the 08.50. Everyone's seated. There's so many services that it's better just to get on at a mainline Southampton station. Comfily supping a 17% imperial stout straight from the bottle because I'm classy. 😎
  11. Surely he won't be in attendance, given the timeline he's set himself?
  12. Yeah, I'm prepped for that. Going into Waterloo so I'll get breakfast/brunch and then be in the pubs from midday.
  13. Per my most recent post on the main Wembley thread, the Saints ticket site must have provided the wrong address to the third party sender. Mine's arrived at my account's primary address, as opposed to the address I entered at checkout. I'm glad to have the physical souvenir, but bloody hell. Digital distribution would've been so much easier.
  14. Fucking hell, Saints. My account's primary address is set to my flat, but on booking I set for the ticket to go to my girlfriend's house (given I'm there more than 'home' currently). Checked the post at home and lo & behold, there's the ticket. Could be interesting for anybody in the same boat if the addresses aren't close to each other...
  15. I was looking at a mini crawl of Hop Locker (South Bank), then (in as-yet undefined order) The Harp, Craft Beer Co Covent Garden and The Lyric. Then on to Marylebone for the train to Wembley.
  16. Ideally no earlier than 2pm, for me. Would prefer to booze in the city and just arrive in time for the buildup. Although if my ticket doesn't turn up soon my hand may be forced on earlier.
  17. Good point - had in my head that Saturday post isn't a thing any more. That's what comes of a mindset too focussed on commerical post & couriers. Clearly need a holiday. 😅
  18. Hmm, bought mine first thing Sunday and no sign yet (Southampton-based). Two more postal days yet, granted. But the club do love inflicting additional pain (and workload) upon themselves, don't they?
  19. I've bought a ticket from Airport to Wembley Stadium itself, but there's changes at Waterloo and Marylebone so I'll likely break the journey at one or t'other. Plenty of good options on the South Bank so may start there, crawl up through Covent Garden/Soho and pick the journey back up at Marylebone. Considered doing the Bermondsey Beer Mile as that's easy to get to from Waterloo (and links well with Wembley via the Jubilee line), but things won't be open early enough to take advantage before the match.
  20. If that's being presented as a barrier to entry, I'd be impressed to hear a better option. Denham (mentioned above) is on the exact same line, so pending where people are coming from it may be easier. I just preferred Gerrard's Cross when I last travelled as it seemed a bit less faffy than getting into Denham.
  21. Gerrard's Cross is a fantastic pick to the north of Wembley. Big car park at the station and only a 15 minute Chiltern train direct to Wembley Stadium station. That's what I did for the JPT.
  22. I was only really looking in the lower tier blocks behind the goal (so 132 to 135-ish), but they were getting snapped up quickly. Checked out at 10am and already by then you were looking at the cheaper standing tickets having gone and most of the seats left being right down the front. Managed to get in the center of 134, but can't imagine those areas will last until tomorrow.
  23. All well and good when there's clear time and space for the logistics. Regardless of utilising this third party company, do you then have full faith in the postal system such that all tickets will arrive correctly and on time? I don't.
  24. I know the club's reasoning. But it still comes back to what I said - they've inflicted it upon themselves by not utilising digital/print at home.
  25. No problems with the queue here, but £3.40 booking fee seemed an unnecessary sting. As did having to pay for postage, which we don't normally. Why in the name of all things common sense didn't we go digital like Leeds?!
