I can vouch for Universal Works. Lovely stuff. Just bought a new jacket from them this week. Can't keep the g/f out of it annoyingly.

Started Milton. Progressed to Under East (full of loons half the time) via the Archers. Quality bundles in all those areas. Terraces were ****ing amazing.

And how do you think they deal with them? Private schools are quite happy to expel kids who consistently misbehave - so kids don't misbehave (unhappy fee-paying parents etc.). It's a lot harder for state schools to expel kids - and if they do they will normally have to take a disruptive kid from another school to replace them. State schools expel kids as an absolute last resort - it's called inclusion. It's how civilised societies should work to be honest.

Don't wait too long. A hearty read. A little physics knowledge helps too otherwise you may find you put it down before you get to the really juicy stuff.

Soft Bulletin - Flaming Lips Not listened to this in a good few years. Stunning.

Quantum by Manjit Kumar Mindblowing science that illuminates the debate about the nature of the atom and the differences of opinion between Niels Bohr and Einstein. Once you've read this any other nonfiction book will feel lightweight by comparison.

I'll be happy to do one if there's a slot free.

Nessun Dorma stills sends a shiver down my spine. Platt's equaliser was quality. Mental team too - Gascoigne, Beardsley and Waddle - proper talent. The World Cup that prompted me to follow England for the 1994 qualifying campaign - including trips to Turkey (mental) and Holland (double mental). Mental team too - Andy Sinton, Carlton Palmer and Geoff Thomas - proper ****e.
-
District 9 - thoroughly enjoyable and ever-so-slightly meaty. Some good guns and not what I expected at all. Paranormal Activity - builds the tension quite well and then ruins it with some nonsense. Overall not particularly good - the alternate ending is exceedingly gash. Double Indemnity - with a screenplay by Raymond Chandler it could hardly be bad. And it isn't. Pure class. Perfect in fact. Got both parts of Mesrine lined up for tonight.

That looks like a cracking line up. Amongst others - great Lightning Bolt song. Looking forward to listening to this.

Something by Wooden Shjips. It's good.

Alan Green. Arsehole. Thinks he's important because Ferguson hates him. Has nothing interesting to say - ever.

As does the Market Porter. Although their fine selection of ales are worth waiting for. -
Got a kill ratio of 0.87 as I type. Much better than for COD4. Lot less opportunities for camping on these maps which can only be a good thing. IMO, the only reason for this game is to play online. The campaign is too short and the storyline utterly ridiculous. The multiplayer is, quite frankly, outstanding.

And then you call someone an idiot in the very same thread. Well done, you really know how to make yourself look very stupid. -
£21000 starting salary, actually. But anyway...... Before people start judging teachers anyone of you is welcome to come see my bottom set year 10s in action. Parents need judging not (the majority of) teachers. I was in at 7.30am and home at 6pm today, that's a pretty average day FWIW. Only 4 weeks til half term though.

I learnt a long time ago not to waste my time on *****s like you. You believe whatever makes you happy, mate.

Isn't it about time one of the Mods locked this utter ****e? There are plenty of other websites for dickheads like you.

Yep. That's the one. They're a joke. Ignore them and they'll go away. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article6790067.ece http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/sep/11/english-defence-league-chaotic-alliance

In Search of England: Journeys into the English Past - Michael Wood Debunks all those myths and legends we hold so dear (in the nicest possible way). Fascinating reading.
