Absolutely! But it is exactly how it is. We haven't won a game yet this year and are away to a team who has won 6 in 6. Any neutral would say a dead cert home win. Having followed Saints for so many years I know we are capable of getting something, but still don't expect us to winh, so predicted the draw. As a Saints fan I hope we win. Simples!

I fully expect Saints to lose today (although I predicted a draw and obviously hope they win). However, IMO it is rather refreshing that we have a manager willing to send out a team with the opposition in mind, as opposed to last year when the Dutch clowns didn't even bother scouting the opposition beforehand. I suppose you would have preferred us to send out 5 fwds against a team who has won 6 out of 6 this season? And, seeing as you think Pardew 'maybe doesn't' know more about football than you, please tell us your managerial background. I am sure it must be better than managing in the premier league and winning two promotions in the football league if you know more than him. Oh, and the commentary wasn't just for you; there are a number of people who come on here to find out what is happening in the match, and not just to whinge and moan about Saints, Pardew, etc.

Nah, he's not nearly as bitter as ManUre's other 'wingman' that day, Gordon Hill. And I am definitely ITK here as I used to be VERY intimate with his (Gordon Hill's) sister. (Family get togethers were great fun with me winding him up all day about being subbed off during the final, and then he would ask me how many England caps I had won ).

I think he was criminally under-used at Saints. His best position, like Lallana's, is as an attacking midfielder, behind a front two. For the vast majority of his games Anders was stuck out on the right wing. He was (is?) a very skillful player on the ball and if he ahd been utilised correctly we would all be singing his praises (instead of just half of us). Congratulation Anders on picking up your 100th cap!
