Ssshhhh!! I was going to say something similar but didn't want to tempt fate and make it go all crappy again. Murty to James, crosses in, goes out for Saints corner. Lallana takes and................... punched away by the 'keeper.
-
I hate Solent. I'm paying for live Saints commentary and have to put up with hearing about Peterborough..... and now the Skates (although the latter was good news). Mind you, the way the game is going thus far it appears all I am missing hearing about is a Kelvin Davis wonder show. Come on Saints, sort yourselves out!
-
Harding cleared corner. Huddersfield got the ball back. Super Kelvin made another great save.
-
Huddersfield went close. Headed over at the back post. Saints have had a fair amount of the ball but have yet to have a decent effort on goal. Corner Huddersfield.

It was all part of the previous regime's evil plan to truely fook us over.....long term! Fortunately for us ML, NC and AP are way too canny!
-
Very good MB! Very good indeed!!
-
We won't take a paltry offer. What AP said was (paraphrasing): 'If we are offerred the price we are looking to get, which may happen soon....' Of course, if nobody comes in a aceptable bid by the end of the month for Rasiak (or Saga for that matter) it need pointing out to them that have to cut the mustard and score the goals to stay in the team so that a better bid might be made in January which could then see them paying in the world Cup next year. Either way, if we use the money gained to buy a suitable replacement, we should be onto a winner.

Spot on JBS!!

A similar question/thread to what was being discussed here: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=15742&page=2 But seeing as you are asking: At least one CB - definitely! Two would be good, but I suppose we can loan someone in if anything serious happens to the new guy, Thomas or Perry. A commanding CM midfield general. I like James at RM as he delivers a good cross (proved this tonight) and having played a full season at RB knows how to help out in defence. However, as others have said a good pacey winger would be nice. (Maybe start with the more attack minded guy for most games and James when we have to be more defensive minded? Or, of course, sign a fast LW instead - it seems to me that AP sees Mills as first choice LM, followed by Lallana, then Gobern, with Holmes way down the pecking order at the moment.) If either Saga or Rasiak go we will need replacements for them. (I think they will both probably go and I would like to see replacements with some pace. Ah, stuff it, let's sign a new forward with bags of pace anyway.)

Who was the last Saints player to score on their debut?
Minsk replied to stevegrant's topic in The Saints
It certainly was! I was in the Northam for that one on one of my rare jaunts over. other debut goals I can remember seeing are Shearer's hat-trick against the Arse and Colin Clarke's hat-trick (against QPR? I think). -
I'm with you on this one. I also want to know who to speak to at the club/radio solent, re: I don't want to miss a goal because they have gone to Bournemouth/Weymouth/have their timing screwed up and are still playing adverts when the match has started/restarted.
-
Ah, a part-timer in all walks of life then!
-
I am also not happy that they keep going to over to Bournemouth and Eastleigh. Especially as almost every time they go back to the match there has been a Saints attack. If goals had been scored at that time we would have missed them. Why am I paying for a live commentary? FFS! And they even missed the kick-off for the second half!!! Aaarrrggghhh!!!!!!!!!!! Again Saints had an attack, whilst Solent were playing an advert!!!!!!!!

Saints vs No'ton - FULL TIME (2-0, Lambert '29, Lallana '68)
Minsk replied to Arizona's topic in The Saints
According to his location he lives in Sweden. Beer is not cheap over there, I can assure you of that! However here, in Belarus, it is! -
Think yourself lucky, it's more than 140 grand for me!
-
I couldn't even get into the log-in page for Saturday's match but am in okay today. I am also suffering the same buffering problems as everyone else. Personally, I never had any problems with Saints TV and preferred the set-up on there as well. I'm not happy with this new player but it's the only way an ex-pat like me can listen to a Saints match. Grrrrr!!!!!!!!

TBF it does sound as if Lloyd James has been staying wide, and it was his cross that led to the goal. -

yay, I've actually managed to get onto Saints player today!!!! It doesn't sound like there's much in it at present, nor any decent chances for either team. The Saints players I have heard mentioned most are James, Thomas and Harding. And as I type Rickie scores his first goal in a Saints shirt!!!!! GET IN THERE!!!!!!!!!!!! -
You've got more chance of getting blood out of a stone than getting your fiver back matey. In any case, of course you shouldn't be banned (unless you do something to warrent it, as with all of us) and as a full member you should be free to air your views on any post you want (so long as it is not obvious trolling). However, I am neither or mod or admin so it's up to them what they do. As an aside, being ex-RN I spent many years both working and living in the PO postcode and thus have many friends who are some of the blue FEW! Virtually every single one of them is at the wrist slashing stage and are not only expecting to meet us (Saints) in CCC derby matches next season but they also think we will do the double. What are your thoughts?

I voted the same way and for exactly the same reasoning. Well said!
-
Oh yes indeed, even The Knights of Ni knew all about a good shrubbery!
-
Saga missing tonight (due to being away with Poland) but Rasiak may be back. Mills also may be back. No other new injuries. Source: OS Personally I would start with Lambert and Paterson and bring Rasiak on for the last 30 mins or so.

One in the bush is better than two fistfuls, I always say!

I also think McLaggon is going to be a very good player for us. However, he will not even start training again for a couple of months so probably won't be anywhere near the first team until after Christmas. Also, I think AP will bed him in gently starting off with using him and his pace as an impact sub for the last 20 mins or so. I think he should be just about ready to be a key figure for our push into, and subsequent winning of, the play-offs!
