It's now or never! I like the way NA is approaching things. He knows what he's doing so let's ALL get behind him! There has been a lot of negative posting (I include myself) on the forum. I agree. It's all very flat and predictable. I think there was also a huge over reliance on Rickie to score another 30 plus goals again. Now no goals at all - that's why we're virtually bottom of the league - no goals in 4, 6 blanks from 9, 3 all season if you don't iclude BR away. There's the problem.....

He should have spent the 700k he spent on Dickson and Robertson on replacing Waigo and Antonio. THAT was the priority. James or Semi didn't have to be released. Pardew managed to WEAKEN the squad not strengthen it in the close season.....

To suggest Pardew wasn't backed in the market is ludicrous. The money was there but frankly was wasted! The lack of replacements, were his fault. He bought full backs and not forwards. Why did he release Semi and James? He built and prepared this team - the buck stops with him. Frankly it is a shambles and has been all season - except BR away. Sadly I think NA will have to start from scratch.....this really reminds me of how Burley left things following a good season.

Failing to build on last season, and not replacing Papa and Antonio IS Pardews fault. This reminds me of the season with Burley after losing the play off game with Derby. Poorly motivated, complacent, unfit poorly prepared, and with no depth or competition for places....

Totally agree! The word COMPLACENCY sticks in my head. The expectation that we would just criuse to automatic promotion without needing to add players, or prepare properly. I have never seen such a poor pre season. The first team hardly played a game together. This combined with so many injuries has lead to this awful mess. I blame all concerned, but NC has made himself all poweful so the buck stops with him....
