Sorry Tim disagree. We played well and were unfortunate in that we didn't take our chances and that. Their second goal was fortunate, the third and fourth counter attacks as we pressed forward to save the game. You seem to forget that they are a premier league side so please stop SHOUTING....

John I am with you on that. Yesterday was a real struggle - especially the first half! I also have high expectations but maybe am a bit more patient than some. I think we are in agreement generally aren't we?

I for one have enjoyed the progress made this season. We have a club, team and supporters that are the envy of most other clubs. Our future is secure, our owner is committed, our chairman is innovative, our manager is doing well and our team is improving. Bloody fantastic! Please can the terribly negative posters come on board? If I didn't know I would think we were describing events 12 months ago when the Dark Lord was still there and we had a team of kids nose diving out of existence. The times they are a changin'. Let's all enjoy the progress we have made and see how far we can go this season. I will continue to dream of 3 Wembley appearances and promotion!!! Imagine that and then think of where we were heading! Please lets stick together and stop this negative crap. As has been posted elsewhere we have won 18 of the last 25, are unbeaten this year, a game away from Wembley, and have Pompey at home in the FA Cup - fantastic!!

I would agree with your argument if our form had continued in the vein of the first 10 games (9 points from 30). Why can't you at least acknowledge the good from since then (34 points from 51)? I was thinking the same. However if we've spent maybe 3 million in total, seen increased gate revenue, plus 12.5k season ticket sales then a lot of money has been raised towards these signings. As for salaries going up, interest paid on debts has gone down.......

Fair comment. Just trying to cheer you up by saying we've got 32 points from last 17 games. This equates to 87 over a full season, If we maintained this form/points ratio until the end of the season, and added the 30 points we have now, we'd end up on 67. Maybe 6 points short of the play offs. Considering the start and the -10 that would be ok.

I just don't get all the negatives! Our overall form is good. You seem to have forgotten cup games, beating Ipswich, 1 defeat in 7, 3 defeats in 25 and so on. Why can't you consider that if we'd had a preseason with AP in charge, signings earlier and no 10 point defecit then there would have been every chance that we would be matching the form shown over the last 4 months. Face it we won't win every game scoring a minimum of 3 goals will we? I have been following this team since 1970 often through struggles and I want to enjoy going in the right direction again now - as they say Rome wasn't built in a day! It's all about opinions so nothing personal .
