That is my point. If you post on the forum then expect others to have a go if they think you're wrong. What's wrong with that? The forum almost authorises you to say what you think in a way that you might not if it was in a face to face situation. In theory noone gets hurt that way...

I take your point but surely this forum is for all to say what they like within reason isn't it? I think most of us are drawn towards those we believe are similar to us in view. The problem is rudeness and intolerance towards others, which most of us have to own up to at times. Duncan is an interesting and intelligent poster with whom I often agree. Whilst I disagree with others, they are not tossers, trolls or idiots - just posters - like you and I...

I certainly agree that since GB left we never get the FB's forward. The wingers we have always seem so isolated - under JP they were stranded half the time and completely ineffective..... I think AP really needed Hammond to support the defence and toughen up the midfield. Perhaps with new centre backs this will enable the full backs to get forward with more confidence.

Jake Thompson and Lee Holmes should get a chance playing as wide men....

Bale and Scacel did it a lot....

Perhaps Hammond is the man we need for that. I think more pressing is the lack of physical presence and leadership in the centre of defence and just in front of them. I'm sure that's why Gillet is not playing and we are stuck with Wotton.

You've had a miraculous conversion since this morning when you had all of the answers! However, I agree a little bit of frankness would be welcome, and an interview with ML or NC with a clear plan for the immediate, medium and long term would help. I feel that people like you Phil (no disrespect intended) have been telling me what will happen and how great it is, when you have no idea really. So this seems very "unreal" almost as if you're not allowed to suggest things are not right or need changing. Almost as if ML is the messiah with AP the anointed one and non believers are Judas. Well smell the coffee, this is Saints and we are rubbish, and miles behind at the bottom of div 1 with less than 2 weeks to rebuild this team. I for one will not be making excuses for AP and co. They are well paid and need to get their fingers out and prove they're worth it! COYR!!!

Ther's been a lot of this. I have been roundly slagged off for my opinion that change is taking to long, and we are going to be in a real mess if we carry on like this. I read that NC is having to spend a lot of time dealing with creditors hence slowing transfers up.Why!!

Phil, perhaps you might consider my point of view with a litle more respect now? I have been roundly criticised by you and others for suggesting change is to slow and that we need to overhaul this squad quickly. You gave me a bull**** lecture on how the Swiss way is slow and measured, and that poor AP hasn't got coaching or scouting staff and is so busy etc etc. Well frankly that's bull**** and I'm sick of it and want some change quickly before we are in div 2. It was bad enough last season but jeez this is worse!!!! 2 CB's a winger and a fast striker as a minimum. Get rid of or put in the reserve players tainted with a losing mentality.....
