Sensatori (caldera Palace) Crete reviews
saint.tom.clancy replied to SO16_Saint's topic in The Lounge
To be honest, its not a place to go sight seeing or anything high profile. You can do watersports and such on the beach and around the local area. Just down the road there are a few shops and cafes, and there are also a few bars and clubs but nothing huge. We found that we rarely left the complex to be honest, its pretty much got everything you need, however as someone has mentioned the drinks are quite expensive, but there are shops close to the hotel which are much cheaper, so you can stock up there! -
Sensatori (caldera Palace) Crete reviews

I went at the beginning of august last year. Beautiful place, didn't see a cloud all week! The surrounding area isn't the best, but to be honest we didn't really leave the complex except for nightlife and of course the beach. The food was excellent, rooms were really clean and air conditioned. The entertainment was also really good! The only thing i would recommend would be getting a "swim-up" room as after about 11 am, the chances of getting a sunbed by the main pool is highly unlikely! Would definately recommend it. -
I would agree that Bart is slightly better than KD, but its what Kelvin brings to the team with an experienced head with makes him the better choice for this league IMO. WHEN we get promoted this year i'd have Bart as first choice.

He made at least 4 goal-scoring saves today, they would have been f*cked without him. That said though he is sh!t at crosses and collecting the ball.
-
There was a load of chaos before the game as well, literally about 70 saints fans running past the cross roads near yates, then eventually making there way down to st marys street.. Didn't see any pompey lot though.
-
Looking forward to Thomas kicking the sh!t out of whoever plays up front... And if Hammond plays kicking the **** out of that cu*t Hareidasson. I'm going for a 3-0 saints win.
-
Thank f*ck its a sell-out, would have been an embarrasment if not.

This is all a storm in a tea cup! Nothing huge is going to happen, maybe a few little scuffles and lots of goading behind a line of police, apart from that it will pass quietly. I'm sure there's hundreds of saints fans who will be out looking for trouble, not just the popmey lot getting the train. Just steer clear of town if your that bothered...

Is this a wind up? :L

FAO: Those who want to stand & sing at Wembley
saint.tom.clancy replied to saints_is_the_south's topic in The Saints
Definately a good idea, would be a nightmare getting to wembley just to be asked to sit down in a sh!t atmosphere all game. Just email David Luker about it, think if a lot of people suggested it, it would get the ball rolling... -
After todays atmosphere, i may have been swayed by the idea of moving away fans.. It was amazing today, so much louder than usual!
-
Think it will be relatively trouble free... However should the unthinkable happen and we lose (!) i would imagine after britannia street there will be plenty of idiotic fans looking for some trouble.
-
Completely agree. Not saying Ostemobor is bad, but for this league Thomas is much better suited.
-
Kelvin is sh!t.

In reply to the original post, and considering the cuptied/inelligible players we won't have, i'd definately be expecting wotton, thomas, davis, mills and llalana to all understand the passion of the fans, maybe in wottons and thomas's cases because of their personalities rather than birthplace. Maybe even throw lloyd james into that lot! But obviously they will all understand how passionate a derby is. But perhaps saints/pompey has that little extra edge? Just pray the players don't bottle it on the day!
-
Lets not be stupid here, there is going to be sh!t loads of trouble, from both sets of fans!
-
They will definately take the full allocation, However there will probably be a a block closed either side so to keep fans apart?
-
haha you couldn't make it up, actually buzzin with excitement!
-
I'm guessing they've accepted one!

Says on Sky Sports info bar "Doncaster have rejected a bid from southampton for captain Brian Stock" I guess that means we've made an offer?
-
"I am very, very pleased to have been able to bring in the two guys in the centre of defence that I wanted, and who are going to improve that area." I'm guessing that means he's happy with the defence, and now looking to strengthen the midfield/attack?
-
From the times i've seen him play, the only incidences where i've seen him attacking is taking set pieces, other than that he clears up at the back and distributes for a counter attack.
-
Stock would sit in the defensive mid role, his natural position.
-
He lived up in strawberry fields near the driving range. Would love to see stock playing for us, especially a local lad of his ability.
-
I think he got confused about who was seen in west quay, and was actually referring to brian stock, who was indeed born in winchester,
