  1. I use 3-4-1-2, on World Class Career mode. I find it easy enough to defend with just the 3, and a lot easier to move the ball around up top with the extra man. Started using Forte as connolly got injured for me, he's actually really good. Fats and has a good touch, scored 6 in 3 so far. I'd recommend him if your drawing around 60 / 70 mins.
  2. Thats pretty much how i see, no wat can they get than many police to cover the whole journey to the stadium, what a massive waste of money it would be if they did. I'm sure it would be cheaper to get a load of coppers to accompany the train down then walk everyone in as is usually the case. Can't see this working tbh, and would be sh!te if it was the plan. Fair enough some people would rather stay within the safety of the bus, but i'd imagine the majority would want to be on the train soaking up the atmosphere and being able to drink.
  3. Good article from Neville. Although I think people are a tad harsh on Darren Bent, I rate him and he's a proven goalscorer. I agree with the rest though, drop Terry, Parker (f*ck know's how he gets in the england team), Rooney, Rio etc and take the kids out there who actually want to play and have something to prove. We're obviously not going to win it so I say take the youngsters out and lets start building for the 2016 Euro's, possible even the 2014 world cup if we pull our fingers out, get rid of Cappello and get someone proven and who wants the job, hopefully with Beckham or Shearer in the background. I'd happily let Stuart Pearce take the reigns, seem's to me he cares alot about the u21's and would make a great first team manager.
  4. Ah Coriander Lounge - the lunch buffet is a killer! Recommend to any working / around town midweek, £7.95 all you can eat.
  5. Useless c*nts. Cost me £650 with that late f*cling equliser.
  6. Haha, quailty. Bet he's on a decent wedge though.
  7. There's no quick way you can skip to the next game, although you can go on the calender and highlight the day you want to skip to... Not sure how much quicker it would be but I assume it wouldn't stop every day. Regarding the tackling, not really any tips for it to be honest. Just takes a bit of getting used to (you can change the defending to the FIFA 11 style in game settings, change it to Legacy defending). If you just jockey holding X you can hold them for long enough to then press O (providing you time it right) or they end up misplacing a pass or knocking it out of play. Try not to continually press O as it won't work. Also, if they've got it round their defence, I hold sprint and B (O on PS3) and RB (R1 on PS3 I think..) which makes both strikers chase the ball down. Other than that just practice to be honest. I like the way they've chanign it online, so you dont have always have to be the barca's or chelsea's to win a game. I'm using sunderland a lot online (fast strikers), as it pairs me up with another 4 and half star team which makes it a lot more even.
  8. Must admit I was gutted to hear Neville was the replacement... Got to say i've come round a bit though, he does talk a lot of sense IMO. Still cant stand the manchester accent, or Alan smith's accent for that matter. Ray Wilkins is just a c*ck. Not saying I like Andy Gray but he's the pick of a bad bunch.
  9. I think i'd really struggle to support England if Redc*nt became boss.
  10. Do you mean when you sim a match during career mode? You know you can just press Y (Triangle if your on PS3) and it skips the whole match..?
  11. I would
  12. Hate it - whats the point? I genuinely dont underatand the need for music to come on after we've scored, the noise from the crowd is so much better than some sh!te song.
  13. Loving the new fifa - signed Beckham and Owen for saints. Beckham is scoring for fun, 90% of the time shooting outside the box with him it goes in. Had **** loads of bids for lallana.. rejected them all but got up to the January transfer window, and to be honest he's not all that, so sold him for £5million. Replaced him with Scott Brown from Celtic whose unbelievable! Decided to keep Puncheon as well, doing quality for me. The defending is hard to get used to... my first 4 games I lost 2 and drew 2 (on proffessional). Once you get used to it though its fairly easy. Shooting is a lot better this year, you can aim for near or far post, across goal or through the keepers legs etc, rather than last year when you just shot and it only ever went the same place. Finding it impossible to score corners or crosses though - Played about 50 games (online and career) and haven't scored a header yet.
  14. Not saying its not hard work, but I can think of more sports which are a lot more physically difficult than Tennis. If they cant handle it, let someone else step up and take their place.
  15. Its not exactly the most gruelling sport though is it? Its the sacrifice they have to make if they want to be the best. If they dont, then fine, i'm sure there is a lot of young potential out there who would jump at the chance to play at these guy's level.
  16. I'd be happy to see him here, as long as others have said - pay as you play deal. I'm 90% sure his attitude of when he was last here would have changed. Its been a long time and he must have kids and be a bit more grown up now. Which should mean he has realistic wage demands as well. Why not?
  17. I dont see much clardige bashing? Rarely gets mentioned on here unless its about the football league show. I rate him as a pundit, talks a bit of sense. Looks like a pikey in real life though - always see him at hedge end ladbrokes in his full adidas tracksuit, a true skate.
  18. Why is nationailty irrelevant, if it's a case of a foreign rapist not being deported due to having "built a life"? Its completely relevant.
  19. I take it you support his right the rape 13 year old girls and then get AWARDED costs, as well as being employed by our own Government then? He is f*cking scum.
  20. 90% of my school mates supported saints, the other 10% didn't like football. Some obviously were more involved than others, but they all at least had a soft spot, if not a season ticket.
  21. Whats the latest with this situation then?
  22. Love him - gets on with the game despite all the abuse he gets everywhere, and IMO is a quality player. If someone like scott parker (who I rate) can get in the England squad - he deserves a shout. Speaks the truth as well.
  23. How were the ticket office to know he hadn't handed it to a mate? His fault for forgetting the ticket IMO, and pathetic to drive home instead of paying the tenner.
  24. Thought he played well yesterday, few hiccups but nothing worth mentioning. Looked fairly solid and i'm more than comfortable with him keeping his place.
  25. Who cares if its original? Go for it, unless you stop supporting saints for some weird reason in the future then you won't regret it. If you want to be more subtle than the badge, then get a stickman.
