  1. Personally I would just risk the young adult one and hope its too busy for them to notice it. If not then the take it to the Ticket Office who will just get you to pay the difference.
  2. Was thinking the same the other day - got some for christmas but would rather buy a ticket for a mate or something.
  3. Not really a fan of most northern accent's. Cant stand the proper scouser's, can tolerate the more moderate one's but it still get's on my tits. Quite like a hint of Irish but again nothing to "proper". A simple southern (normal) accent is perfect.
  4. Fair enough anyone happy to go on the bus, that should be and always has been a safe option. Personally, i'd much rather have too many beers on the train and run the gauntlet - and i'm sure i'm not on my own. To me this one really didn't feel like a derby as much as the previous few.
  5. Another good read, cheers.
  6. Pleased that none of them seemed to bottle it this time. Jos was quality yet again, and i've got a lot of time for Cork after yesterday, was well up for it and put in a good shift.
  7. Definitely Harding for the Sk*tes, can see Fox bottling it.
  8. Chappers leading the diamond formation, with Jaidi and Bart the 2 units following in, swiftly followed by a tactical fighter in Davis - using his experience rather than general hardness, backed up by Lambert to pick off the stray c*nts trying to run away.
  9. Surprised at how many are expecting a skate's win! 5-0 saints, lets ****ing hammer those c*nts.
  10. Sorry to be a kn*b but I completely made that up. I just wanted to prove that anyone can post anything and people will jump on it as gospel. I would be massively surprised if we haven't sold this out and I simply cant see that 400 tickets have been sent back, thats a sh!t load tickets to return for a local derby, especially as we're top of the league. I'd wait until we hear more (unlikely - the skate os is more reliable) until claiming out support is sh!t and we should be embarrassed.
  11. Vincent Pericard
  12. Well this is just not true, had mates who didn't bother applying because they had no aways, put in for the second ballot and have been told they weren't succesful. We've sold out easily.
  13. Can't stand him - complete and utter kn*b. Unbelievably Over paid and over rated footballer who seem's to know everything. Although I do agree that the comments from Blatter are ridiculous, a genuinely racist comment obviously can't be sorted with a handshake on the pitch. If that was the rule anyone could say anything and blame it on the "heat of the moment".
  14. I agree to an extent about the repetitiveness of MW3, and can see why BF will steal a few fans this time round. However, i'm still a massive fan of Modern Warfare, and will definitely stick to it for this year at least. There does seem something missing, not sure quite what it is though to be honest. Not sure what they need to change to improve it, but something definitely needs to be done for next year. Not a fan of the survival mode, gets a bit boring after a while and once i'd reached level 19 I just ran into the open at starting shooting beacuse it was just too tedious - nowhere near as good as zombies. Not a fan of the maps either - Hardhat and Outpost are my favourites but the rest aren't great. Overall though, love playing it and would still recommend it. I'd give it 8/10, Just need's somthing different next year. Bring back the nuke!
  15. Agreed. Think the firework display is being used as a bit of a scapegoat. I know i'd definitely slow right down and put the fog lights on if i found myself in a similair situation - I cant help but think they must have been going to fast and too close to one another if they couldn't stop in time. Very sad story though, I just hope the emotions of the whole event don't pour into blaming the rugby club - not sure it's right to blame them for the possibly careless driving of those involved, even thought it may have been a contributing factor.
  16. Depends what your after. For online gaming, the 360 easily. The new version's are very quiet and have wifi built in as well. PS3 is better for the blu-ray / iplater etc that has already been mentioned. Dont let the £40 a year put you off Xbox live - it's definitely worth the money. I'd get it soon as well, what with Modern Warfare 3 out tonight. I'd say the graphics on the Xbox are slightly better as well, RDR had the change on PS3 for example.
  17. Not sure banning an advert will stop someone from gambling. I enjoy the bet 365 advert which gives you the live odd's at half time, sometimes worth a punt. Don't see a problem with it myself, it's not as if it directly harms your health in the way alcohol and cigarettes do.
  18. In a way I don't want this to be succesful. Obviously i'm not encouraging violence etc, but i'd much rather get the train down there and get ****ed up than have to sit on a coach sober for 5 hours. Hopefully if it doesnt make much difference trouble wise then they'd have to use a different method to control it, which might mean letting everyone travel their own way but a lot better organisation - a special football train for example which arrives, say 2 hours before kick off and you get marched to the ground but the bar's are open. Not the perfect scenario but likely to be far less fans around and at least you still get a few beers and soak up the atmosphere.
  19. Just got it back up, should shoot up again later when people get back from work etc! Will be very disappointed if we cant rig this one. Adkins out if we lose it.
  20. Not really sure where they can go with this. Anything announced thats going to set it apart from previous GTA's? Obviously better graphics... Done the story lines to death so hopefully they mix it up a bit. Will have to be convinced its a big improvement otherwise I won't be getting it. I think the novelty of going round stealing cars and killing people wore off after San Andreas for me.
  21. Harding back left as well (ahem)? Hopefully Lallana at the back - doubt it though. Would be good for him to get 20 minutes or so in preparation for Saturday if he's recovered / near match fitness.
  22. Only reason I hate spurs nowadays is that c*nt Redknapp. Couldn't care less otherwise.
  23. Lallana v WBA a few years back. First time I remember seeing him play, came on and scored to go 2-1 up. 5 minutes of going absolutely nuts... Then they equalised. Oh, and obviously Lambert v Skates. Will always love him if just for that moment.
  24. I cant believe this is seriously being talked about! Would kill off football completely. Would definitely follow non-league. It gets more and more about money, and less about the love of the game all the time. Stick your no relegation up your a*se, even if we were in the PL i'd still be 100% against it.
