He was awful when we played there last season, too easily wound up and nothing he tried came off. Didn't make me nervous whenever he got the ball as he'd sure enough lose it not long after, then lost his rag in the second half. Saying that, he's young and has bags of potential, and that was the only game i'm basing my opinion on. As long as we don't pay over the odds I'd have no complaints.

Not a massive improvement on Kelv, if any. I think we should look elsewhere to be honest, a younger keeper would be better. A year or 2 to learn from Davis would be perfect.

Realistically, I think Lallana and Schneiderlin should be in with a shout by the end of next season. I'd hope Lambert could have a shot, at least at a few friendlies - he deserve's it and if he performs next season which we all expect him to, he could do it.

I understand the sentiment, but he's a professional. He's not going to go out there and play sh!t on purpose just because he used to play for them. If he does get the nod he'll be desperate to bang in a few goals. Personally, I think its the perfect game for him - he was at Doncaster for a while so will know what their defence is all about first hand. To be honest, I didn't know loads about the EDL beforehand, but had some sympathy with their "cause". After watching it last night though, they did themselves no favours whatsoever. 90% of them are just f*cking stupid and up for a ruck, not helped by that Tommy Robinson quite obviously just being a racist. They will never be taken seriously, if I heard right, and they are against sharia law and muslim extremists, why did I hear more than once him refer to all muslims? Rather than just the extremists, he's on camera for f*cksake, beyond stupid. Saying that, the extremists are scum and no one can argue that. If they are so obsessed with sharia law, why not live in a country which has it? I dont think the program did any favours to either, and just stirred it up more on both sides.

In a very selfish way, I’d rather he didn’t get the nod. He’s never going to get picked for the euros so why use him for a friendly? I think he’s more than capable of performing for England, but I’d rather wait until next season when we’re in the prem. We need Lambert more than ever for these next few months, having a dip in form or getting injured just to play a friendly for England could potentially be the difference between automatic and play off’s.

Got Wave 105 in our office. Music is a bit hit and miss, some decent songs every so often but most of the time it's just sh!te. Also i've heard the same f*cking adverts over and over again.. Apple home improvements and some out of tune bint singing about a coffee machine, i'm never putting my money towards either I hate them so much now, must get played about 4 times any hour it puts me close to tears.
