I went there in the cup (mid week) when they had the plastic pitch, & you are "so" right.

Agreed Nutwood2, Steve Mills could have probably been one off the best backs in England ever (imho). Played almost like the wing backs we see now. But, I seem to remember him flying down the right.

This is where football can take a leaf out of rugbys book. I'm a season ticket holder at Harlequins (the cheats). Sold out for almost every game (nearly 13k, next week new stand open will be nearly 15k), no segregation, 1 pc 1 wpc at the match who leave as soon as the final whistle goes, take drink to your seat, live band after the game, followed by a "disco", the players eat after match meals and drink in the same bar as us. Fans of both sides want to stay after the game with maybe one or two bits of "trouble" a season. Cost of season ticket? £175.00 for about 18 games.

The Ted Bates Stadium? Ted Bates (and maybe the present owner) has done more for this club than any body else IMHO.
