Why? This should only be for people involved in your club or has done something special in football!

I think that's the best "team" goal I've seen. That with LeTiss' against Newcastle and Keegan's dissallowed goal would be my three best Saints goals I've seen. Another great Saints team goal is Danny Wallace overhead kick against Liverpool a couple years later .

Dortmund, Used to go there in the late 80's. Great weekends they were too!

"You can't take a team that won the Championship and think they'll survive in the Premier League," Pardew added. Don't look good for Reading !

Perhaps we should give the nickname of Kendo! (Those of a certain age will know who I'm on about.)

Who is the best SFC player you saw as a youngster

Lucky enought to have seen many very good young players at Saints but, Terry Paine who won a World Cup winners medal must have gone on to have done the greatest thing! Steve Mills would have gone on to great things. I also think Channon was a more skillful and better to watch than Shearer. Steve Williams was lovely to watch. Very silky skills with a bit of an edge to him. LeTiss is the one player that people would pay to watch. Add the Wallace brothers, Mark Wright , Bale and all the others that have been mentioned it really does show what a great club Saints are to be at for a young budding pro! -

I know I may have missed something somewhere but, why would we be getting a new home kit when the one we got is only 1 year old? I thought kits were ment to be worn for 2 years!

I agree with this but will add, the ref tonight never seemed to give us any 50/50s, sometimes not even 100s when it was Rickie fouled. James should have been arrested never mind booked for the time wasting which started in the first half. It was no suprise Brizz score the kind of goal they did, they nearly scored 2 like it before. I'll end by thanking everyone at the club for giving us a great 2011!

Just bought 1 ticket by phone and they said they are expecting a sell out or very close too it!

This has to be the biggest home crowd for a Saints game ever. Capacity at The Dell then I think was 32,000, the ground was full and there were 100s around the pitch.
-
Expansion of The Dell. Was it ever possible??

50,000 seater with tunnel from the away fans section into the train station if I remember correctly. -
Remember this game very well. 29th April, my 15th birthday. Was walking down Archers Road when a group of Spurs fans surrounded me and tried to get my ticket of me. They didn't get it but I got stabbes in the shoulder with a knitting needle. A steward took me around the edge of the pitch to the first aid room with a few of my mates cheering me on the way round. Got out just as the team were coming down the stairs onto the pitch. Pants game!

Bristol Rovers away in the FA Cup 3rd round (1978 or 1979) must have been close. We lost 2-0 and a pitch invasion at the end of the match.

Either Saints legend Nick Holmes or the more silky Paul Gilchrist, can't make up my mind.

WGS, Baird? -
Plus Bolton, Readon, Coventry, MK Dons and I'm sure there are others.

I was wandering if any one had been to north Mauritus at the end of June, as I'm going there in 2 weeks time and was looking for any information about it. Cheers.

http://www.football-league.co.uk/championship/news/20110513/pompey-release-10-players_2293322_2359471 Will they have anyone left to play us next season and if they do, where would they get there cash to buy them?
-
The win against Huddersfield!
-
Would the Football League let us do it anyway? I don't think they will as both teams come out onto the pitch together.
