So let me get this straight. Alan Ball who use to wear the 7 shirt was, a winger, a 10 who played defensive midfielder and one of our most creative attacking midfielders as well. I knew he was great for us but, didn't know he was that great! Should be on the banner, surely?

Reading the paper this morning and I don't know why but, looked at the Sky advert with the teams lined up one behind the other. Couldn't see the Saints kit there! Don't know if it means anything or not.

For the last few seasons fans of other clubs keep saying "the wheels are coming of the Southampton bus" and, again this summer they're saying the same. Yet we keep proving them wrong. If we get anywhere near last seasons finish it would give me a bigger grin then I had the previous years! Looking forward to a couple or more signings to help me feel a bit more confident though.
