Id like to point out since I got a 4 point infraction for using the word mongboard that word has appeared in 16 other threads on this stupid/foolish personboard. Presumably the persons who said his word also received the same level of infraction? I can't get a reply from the mod in question on this subject other than one flippant and arrogant reply so post here if you've been infracted for using it.

It's a stupid/foolish personboard now pal

Was this from the same source as last summer?????!!

If you had a decent credit rating it wasn't a problem

People used to moan that season tickets came out too late, no one knew how much they were etc. now people moan that they're out too early and we don't know who is going to be playing for us next season. Got to love the modern soccerball match goer, a proper fully paid up consumer. Football fans are dead, long live the soccerball consumer.

Pretty weird that you accuse other people of being cocks when the one acting like one on this thread is you.
-
It's about people using race as a excuse to cover poor performance.

Completely ridiculous. These are multi million pound businesses and the manager is the most important person at the club. are you going interview credible candidates putting the club in the hands of an experienced guy who has proven himself or waste time interviewing rio Ferdinand and Ashley cole because you're told too? The reality is that there are few credible black candidates for top flight managerial roles at the moment. The ones that are get jobs. Things will change in the future as the higher percentage of black players reach retirement age but we are probably 10 years away from there being a handful or more of credible, experienced black managers who would be suitable for premier league jobs. That isn't racism it's FACT.
-
The thing that gets me about this whole argument is that whilst there are a lot of black players now that hasn't always been the case. Players playing 10-15 years ago are now at the age where they either are or could have gone into management. The England 2000 euro squad contained only 3 black players, Paul Ince, Emile Heskey and Sol Campbell. Paul ince as the only one who went into management. He got a premier league management job and failed. Of the white players only 3 of the 19 went into management. Southgate, Adams and for a short time Shearer. All three of those were failures to one degree or another as well. Shearer only managed for about 3 Months and that was only because he was a Geordie. So the facts don't stack Up the arguement that black ex players don't get a chance. Maybe people should stop worrying about skinn colour and investigating why so few English ex-players make decent managers. After all, it's over 20 years since one last won the top flight championship.

CLUB ACCOUNTS: 2013/14 - Saints reveal first profit

David Bick football expert The website of the company he is MD of describe themselves as experts in protecting reputations on individuals and companies. Funnily enough he burst onto the scene when cortese 'resigned' and has been gobbing off from that day forth. Although I beleive he was employed by the club before that and the man behind the gushing articles on cortese in the press. I'll let you lot work it out, it ain't hard though. -
Another former player claiming his skin colour effects his chances of getting a managers job. Nothing to do with his abject failure at Celtic and tranmere then?
-
What we need to do is not even try to qualify for euro 2016, bring in the u21s, call up JWP, Harrison Reed, Matt Target and build for the World Cup 2018. We'd have a great chance of winning it then.

By default everyone should be a socialist. We should all want the country to prosper and be run for the common good. Whilst I admire the altruism of those who yearn for a socialist utopia, it doesn't exist, never will and most people who harp on about it are self serving c*nts. Labour are unelectable and they only ever get into power when everyone is sick of the Tories anyway. UKIP only exist because so many people are dissatisfied with the others. the thought of milband as our leader on a world stage is terrifying, we'd be a laughing stock, yet unfortunately a lot of people seem to vote for them because it's what tradition tells them they should do. If there was a box on the voting form which said 'none of these' I wonder how many, if people were honest with themselves and their vote, would tick it.

Worrying times indeed. It's like a foolish/stupid person-board version of superman 3, where the good guys go evil and start to abuse the power they have been given.

You love being a mod don't you pal

Stop stamping on the poor lads dreams pappy.

You can imagine the glee Jimmy felt when he saw that thread, for that moment everything he'd worked to achieve on stupid/foolish personboards came together. His life was there, in that moment. What a plank.

I've recently had my greatest success on football manager when I took Over as manager of Plymouth when they were in the lower half of the conference. 4 promotions in 5 seasons later we were in the premier league. Extended home park to 50k and just retained the champions league, won the world club cup and won the league 4 seasons in a row, winning it last season by 23 points. Anything is possible. -
Exactly that. Some of the soccerball snobs on here don't like him because he's not a champagne footballer, but he's proving himself to be an excellent addition to the squad. Not only does he hold the record saints winning everytime he scores he also brings a different dimension to our play. Take the everton game for example. We were on a bad run, the game was even all balanced and he hassled and harried the everton defender, it should have been a penalty but the ref bottled it and gave a corner instead, we scored from the corner and won 3-0. That moment changed the game and possibly the season as our por form ended and we then went on excellent run. i would describe Shane long as not a great player but an important one.
-
Another important goal from Shane. He certainly seems to know when to score, saved Ireland's campaign yesterday to add to the number of important goals he's scored for saints this season. When he score we win. A real talisman.

well according to one of the mods I've been outed as a troll and wont get the benefit of the doubt any more. What a plank

So do I, but I didn't want to say that as Id be accused of trolling and hating cortese again. -
I think you'll find a lot of fans on here will disagree with you, as this is an example of the much lauded dynamic/easyjet pricing model people were so in favour of when stadium expansion is being discussed. For those that don't get the concept In simple terms there is no fixed ticket prices as such, so when demand is high prices go up, when demand is low prices come down. The last game of the season is a high demand game so great to see the club reacting to the demands of fans by putting the price up in a dynamic pricing model fashion. Rather than feeling this is a rip off The price increase is actually great news and yet more evidence what a fan friendly board of directors we have now who are listening and reacting accordingly.
