  1. If you disapprove of it so much you really shouldn’t be celebrating the festival of Christmas Matthew, it’s very hypocritical.
  2. *Bobby obviously.
  3. Or we might not have won any had Bonny been a knee hair ahead of the dotted line
  4. VAR giant foam hands! They could wave when a decision is being reviewed then give it the thumbs up or down when it’s made, all whist chanting VAR it’s one of our own.
  5. So it’s a religious festival then. Thanks for comfirming.
  6. It isn’t going away. So If you can’t beat them join them, I think we as a fan base need to embrace it, it might even help us! How about we out banter the opposition fans where every time there is a VAR review we all sing V-A-R- no goal, to the tune of Disco D-I-S-C-O, we could even have hand movements spelling out VAR followed by drawing a TV like the ref does to indicate a VAR reviews, it would be proper funny to get that going, a decent original chant too.
  7. Why is that?
  8. Why are they off work?
  9. Why celebrate it on that day then? Why not wait until the weekend, only 3 days away, or New Year’s Day, you could even have done it on Boxing Day, also a public holiday, no, you chose to do all your celebrating on Christmas Day, you celebrated a religious festival didn’t you Matthew.
  10. So how can you admit it’s a Christian festival, a religion based on Jesus then Repeatedly deny it has anything to do with jesus?
  11. You acknowledge it by using the day you got off work due to the festival of Christmas to visit your family, exchange gifts and eat food, which is the traditional way millions of others celebrate it. Just admit it,,nothing wrong with it.
  12. They were off work, you were off work, the reason is because it is a public holiday due to it being a Christian festival. Quite obviously Jesus was involved because without him the day wouldn’t have happened in the first place. The very fact you were able to visit your family, eat food and exchange gifts is down to religion. Otherwise you’d be at work and so would everyone else.
  13. How can you say Jesus wasn’t involved in the day when the very fact it exists as a public holiday is because it’s a Christian holiday to celebrate his birth?
  14. would you say you celebrated a birthday, or would you not be celebrating the birthday?
  15. What you won’t or can’t acknowledge though is Christmas, like it or not, is a Christian festival, celebrated in England by eating food and exchanging giftS, you did that so you celebrated it, however much you try to pretend you didn’t.
  16. The first bit was meant to say gifts, predictive text, Second bit answer the question and it will become relevant, what do you normally do in someones birthday?
  17. He must do, he celebrates his birthday!
  18. And exchanged kits. Let me ask you, what do you do on people birthdays?
  19. It’s illogical isn’t it! A bit like wishing people merry Christmas, celebrating Christmas then pretending it has no religious connotations whatsoever despite spending days talking about god, Jesus and the Bible
  20. Not sure what the saints voice do? Grass up on fans twitter profiles and make sure that our virtue signalling remains premier league standard.
  21. Do we? Most clubs have played 20 games now so they all have 18 left, surely everyone has to play everyone apart from the one team they’ve already played twice?
  22. Supposedly Benitez is locked into some very expensive contract in China which has ruled him out, SSN saying its Moyes. Not a bad appointment.
  23. What exactly did you think a thread titled “Happy Christmas” would contain? I thought you’d be pleasantly surprised it just wasn’t 3 pages of Debye one saying the the same two words to each other?
  24. You have to remember it’s been a difficult few days for Matthew. Outed as a hypocrite, shown up for his lack of understanding of the scriptures and proven to come from a a religious family despite absolute denials in the validity of any of it. It’s been tough, he should be glad we are there to educate him. I hope he doesn’t make the same mistake at Easter.
  25. A champagne agnostic, he celebrates religious festivals don’t forget.
