The main thing is the people running the club aren't. They are calm and In control whilst executing the new plan quietly, efficiently meanwhile ignoring the media frenzy and doomsday prophecies.

Les looks very happy in that shot. No doubt pleased with his works as he goes about his business quietly behind the scenes. Able to sign off for the week happy and content, it won't be the last time we are him smiling this summer. Good to see and affirms the quiet confidence of the new board.

Great to see Lovren say how happy he was here. It seems he has been impressed by the impact of Ralph and has bought into the way they are quietly, efficiently and confidently going about this business. Another outstanding example of the quiet confidence permeating through the club at the moment.

If there is one thing we can be sure of and that is that should Lallana go, the board will obtain the best deal possible and act in the interest of SFC. They will also quietly go about the business of replacing him and securing that players service effectively with the minimum of fuss.

The club issued a statement, what two weeks ago. They quite clearly said where we are. They said they are not planning to sell anyone. They of course cant say no one will ever leave but they dont plan to sell anyone and whatever happens will be in the best interests of the club. They couldn't have been clearer. Yet still we get the bleating hysteria that they dont know what they're doing, lack ambition etc. Quite why people expect them to respond to every bit of specualtion is beyond me.

They've already issued a statement which was very clear and concise. It comes down to if you have faith in the owners or if you believe everything you read. The quiet confidence and steely determination say far more than a million words could.

What I think is fantastic is the new board are so untroubled by the media speculation they've have found it totally unnessasary to comment further since the statement. I like the quiet confidence of the new board. Unlike the hysterical tarts on here demanding daily updates and denials of every story ever written. Id be interested to read about all those match ups. When did they happen? Does it go into detail about the cloning of these athletes and teams and their mangers and coaches so they could be 100% certain their ability was EXACTLY the same?

FFS 'small fry' don't you know listing the numerous occasions where this hasn't happened is far less credible than something about animalistic tendencies from centuries ago in a completely made up, hypothetical situation which will be impossible to ever occur that a scientist wrote once.

I'm pretty sure something happened in 1976 when a team not wearing red beat a team wearing red who were a better side than them. Surely scientists can prove that never happened.

Yet four of the top 6 this season, including the champions wore non red kits. How can this be when it's been proven wearing red is a guarantee of success?

Name the two athletes or teams who were EXACTLY of the same ability, one in red, one in none red, where the one in red won.

The sole reason Man united dominated English football for the last twenty year was not because they had the greatest manager in history and players like Giggs, Scholes, Keane, Van Nistelroy, Stam, schmichel etc it was because they wore red shirts.

It'll be a thankless job, mainly to field all the dinlows moans about the quality of the pasties, queues in the concourses at half time etc as well as listen to all the fans brilliant suggestions of how to improve their match day experience by giving them free beer for every ticket/programme/pie/bit of merchandise bought.

The stuff on here is laughable. People claiming the new board are useless and losing faith in them. What have they done wrong so far? No. How do people know that they aren't working on plans with poch right now for new signings and his new deal? How do people know they aren't working on transfers and new contracts for players? How do people know they haven't told Lallana and Shaw they aren't for sale? What we do know is a bitter ex chairman has been feeding his pals in press lines and giving interviews about how much better it'd be if he was here. What's his agenda?
