Very good article and exactly my view. If we'd have got Moyes in when Adkins left it'd be lauded as a huge statement of intent. I think well get Koeman and I'm fine with that, but I think Moyes would be the best man for the job.

He hasn't.

Are we going to be singing this next season or not? Leslie, Leslie, Leslie, Leslie Reed Harry, Harry, Harry, Harry Reed *does hand movements*

Awful aren't they. What doyou expect from a ginger?

I'm just amazed neither of them are wearing red shorts, our experts on here told us that would have guaranteed victory.

There hasn't been a fire sale. The only player who has left is one who has been given an opportunity to finish his career at the club he has supported all his life. It is only right the board don't stand in his way to fulfill a personal ambition. I for one applaud their decision. Football is riddled with greed and egos but by allowing Rickie to move they have show that not only are they great leaders but also great people.

Does anyone still believe we will be competitive?

I have every confidence that Ralph will deliver. His first priority was to sort out the mess he inherited from our previous CEO and he appears to be well on the way to doing this. Once the issues have be resolved then we can move forward with a clear horizon, nothing to worry about on our plate. Concentrating only on things that are creative not destructive. I know we are only human and we get these emotions, let's call them negate emotions, but when all these are removed and the road ahead is clear, now you're going to create something. That is where we will see the true value of Ralph. -
Terrible article. Of course we can crack into the elite. They said man would never walk on the moon.

Why are you posting of here then?

Get back to your chip pan.

Done very well so far. Forced pochettinos hand by making him resign, got a good fee for a 32 year old player past his best. He's stated the clubs ambition and looking to attract a high calibre manager to continue our upward trajectory whilst clear the club of deadwood and those not fully behind or able to see through the new new plan until completion. He inherited a mess from cortese and has so far been made a good, positive start in his rebuilding job. 8 out of 10.

We do, we finished about Stoke and West Ham FFS.

That message currently reverberating round the world that we are a massive and strong club due to our 8th rather than cup final and 11th finish shows no sign waning.

So Ralph confirmed today he was offered a contract and it wasn't a made up Internet rumour.
-
Didn't hear it but great Reading, confirms my faith in Ralph and the board that not only are they still driving the club forward they are doing it with the best interests of the club at heart in a fan friendly way.
-
What exactly did he say on that?

Agreed. We would be a very good club to manage. Well placed in the premier league with a good squad and some more talented youngsters coming through. A great reputation as a go to club for any talented young player in a lower league or europe and without the intense pressure applied by the previous chairman of wanting champagne results on beer money. We now have a board with a more realistic aims, in many ways we are more attractive to a manager than ever before.
