This is it. At times last season we really needed a clinical finisher to take the chances we had and also read Ramirez through balls. The guys record is impressive and he's a full Italian international. Obviously there are no guarantees but he seems to fit the bill for exactly what we need.

Very smart, I like seeing a manger in a well cut suit, shirt and tie. Much better than his horrendous tight jeans and bench coat last season. I hope he has learnt from last seasons mistakes and invested in a smart winter coat. This certainly is a good start and gives me hope of a successful season from a manager.

This would be a fantastic signing btw.

Plenty did disagree. Plenty said I was trolling,

http://www.football-italia.net/38459/osvaldo-reconsiders-saints-offer So according to this its for the money then. FFS Turkish has been trolling this thread with this sh*te, he is wrong, the media is wrong. Its DEFINTELY NOT for the money, Saintsweb knows this.

Has anybody ever had a week as good as his?
-
Hang on, isnt he a clueless junkie that talks a lot of Bol+ocks?
-
Good to hear after he bullied our midfield last season up there. Great win, didnt think we'd get anything up here and by all accounts the new boys sound excellent. An away win, a clean sheet and 3 teenage English lads in our starting line up. Excellent stuff.
-
Yet still you obsess about me.
-
Surely it's down to him to make himself undroppable then? You need options up front and squad if 20 or so decent players. Look at all the top clubs, they all have 3-4 or four decent options up front.
-
Or maybe I couldn't give a sh*t if the divs on here don't like me?!
-
So if he choses us why would it be?
-
I bet some of you lot are a great laugh spend an evening with,
-
That's the whole point of a forum Nicky son. I know some of you don't like discussion and just want back slapping and worshipping everyone at the club and on here but unfortunately for some of you that ain't how it is.
-
I expect most of them just didn't buy the new shirt.
-
I'm relaxed, as always. So have you thrown the towel in? Given up? No belief in your convictions? It's a good job Noah didn't quit when a few people Questions his motives otherwise he'd have never built the ark and the human race would have been wiped out.
-
You're developing a rather strange obsession with me.
-
Is it harmless though? It's an outward display of distant at a decision made by the club. What is the aim of making and selling t-shirts? What if 1000 people decide to buy them and all wore them today? Would that still be harmless? Or is it just a one man crusade to being back stripes?
-
Colin. I'll ask you again, do you think wearing one of your t-shirts to a match is damaging to the club?
-
But like all conversations it has developed into a wider issue about what we can offer top foreign players, If this was just about Osvaldo and news, then the thread would about 20 posts long.
-
Is any player at a big club guaranteed to start every week? Surely the whole point of having a good squad strong enough to play 38 league games and attempt to challenge for 3 cups you'd be looking at playing nearly 60 odd games, as well as internationals. I'd be concearned if I was joining a club and they were expecting me to play in every single game. At the big clubs they have good players in every position and more than one of them.
-
Would it be better for an Italian international to play for a top club in Italy during World Cup year, a top 5 club in England playing European football and likely challenging for the champions league or a midtable club in England?
-
Its not a huge leap to say that we've clearly made him a very attractive offer but his preference is a move to Inter or Spurs. inter isn't going to happen and its not really clear if Spurs are interested or not iit would appear that the Roma directors want him off the books. You wouldn't blame a foreign player for choosing Spurs over us would you, if they want him or not is another matter.
-
Its not an arguements just about Osvaldo though is it, its what would entice a player to us when we can't offer them European football or challenging for trophies. We are trying to compete with clubs that can offer this.
-
Who has that train of thought?
