I watch a lot of Swedish football and I can confirm this guy is terrible. I was in Sweden recently and saw a Swedish cup game between Malmo and Elfsborg. He was totally out of his depth, got run ragged by a very average looking front two, scored and own goal, gave away a penalty and got substituted after 50 minutes. Poor in the air and his distribution was woeful, 4 times he put the ball out for a thrown in instead of passing it 10 yards to the left back. Would be a terrible signing.

Quite. Last season people were indignant that we were so bad because our tough start and that once we played a few of the lesser teams we'd start to improve. This season this doesn't seem to be the case and that despite us playing 8 teams in the bottom half, including teams many on here have labelled sh*t, awful, terrible, anti football and so on people are now claiming we are as good as the top 6 and might well finish above Man United.

He is perhaps better suited to us now than some might think. Yes we press a lot more and that side of it doesnt suit him, however we also tend to have a lot more posession in matches these days, usually more than our opponents even at places like old Trafford so we aren't on the defensive like we were so much last season in away games. With this poession though we dont seem to create an awful lot of chances so perhap we are looking for someone like him to be able to offer that spark of creativity, although i cant see him being able to do this whilst Lambert is our lone striker as he simply doesn't have the movement and runing off the ball to link up well with Ramirez, so maybe a fit Ramirez and Osvaldo are the key here. The question mark has to be over his fitness and work rate, he barley finished a game last season under Adkins and was usually looking knackered after an hour, unless he is working hard on his stamina in the gym then i struggle to see how he'll cope when so much more is being asked of him physically.

I wouldn't say it's just you Colin, I know you try hard to be a good guy forum vigilante and I do have a modicum of respect for that, particularly after the embarrassing Facebook boycott group but your cohorts don't help you. if the bleaters and delicate flowers could have a look at themselves and realise how unreasonable their behaviour is we'd have a much happier mongboard.
