  1. Yep and if you're a season ticket holder you still have to pay full whack, no discount for the fact you've already paid for your ticket. I considered doing it last season when I had a ST and when I realised if have to pay the full price decided not to bother.
  2. Strange, You're not going to watch Sunderland are you? Surely you'd go to support Saints.
  3. Well it was a smaller crowd than at Everton, which is odd as I'm sure you said we had more match going fans than them. The other premier league clubs who had smaller gates than us also have smaller grounds and 2 of them sold out, so you use your logic, if they'd had a bigger ground then their attendance would hav been higher, possibly bigger than ours. thrown in the fact that Man United and Tottenham still have home games to play that'll push us down to the 6th biggest crowd of the weekend, with the possibility that at least two other clubs could also have had bigger gates if they'd had big enough stadiums. 4th largest of the day isn't anywhere near as impressive as you're trying to make it out to be Matthew.
  4. Got to love MLGs old -use the away fans to sell our tickets argument coming out again though. Wasn't that one of the justifications to expand, that we can give more tickets to away fans.
  5. Not at my company or last company it isn't pal. We can get anything signed off as long as its not taking the p*ss. a few of my customers used have corporate season tickets at SMS, now they find it better value to go for a meal and few drinks before and after in Oxford Street and just have normal season tickets. Its not because people aren't doing it, its because the poor quality and high price of our corporate areas have put people off and they now do other things.
  6. That was the case for most of last season Les. It seems that the prawn sandwich brigade aren't interested in spending their money at SFC.
  7. BUT BUT BUT!!! it was a bank holiday weekend, there are a couple music festivals going on, There was a murder in Woolston on Friday night, everyone is on holiday, lots of people get married in August, lots of people would have assumed it would have sold out so wouldn't have bothered trying to get a ticket, August 24th is traditionally the most popular weekend of the year for surprise great aunts birthday parties, the Ashes is on. We need a bigger ground.
  8. I can vouch for the truth in this, having witnessed your outrage first hand.
  9. As silly as arguing something is onside when it was offside? It seems to be only you that don't understand the rule son and trying to patronise. I said above it was very marginal and perhaps he should have for the benefit of the doubt but rules are rules and his shoulder was ahead of the last man when the ball was played, son.
  10. His shoulder was ahead of the defenders, he was offside. I obviously didn't mean arms FFS
  11. We'd be better off reverting to 4-4-2 with a couple of wingers and big man up top and a small man picking up the flicks. Long ball into the mixer from whatever player has it. It's the only way some of our Mong fans will understand what is going on the pitch.
  12. Because we know the rules and know he was offside then we're trolling. If we'd said it was definitely a goal and the linesman and rules are wrong we'd be great posters
  13. Quite, a lot of linesman would have given it and given him the benefit, but rules are rules and it was the right call. I'm sure we'll get one go our way soon. Rodriguez is definitely a confidence player and lacks that swagger a top striker needs, he has all the attributes, just lacks that arrogance that makes a decent player a good one.
  14. Whatever you might think about the rules or the linesman it was the correct decision. I don't like it either but that doesn't mean it was the wrong call.
  15. To be fair you are talking about milliseconds, he was just unlucky with that, it was the right decision but another linesman would have given it and given him the doubt. It was the right decision but You're literally talking about fractions in that case, He moves Towards the ball half a second later hes on and its a goal. His header from osvaldos cross which went straight at the keeper was poor though.
  16. And to cap it all you had a dodgy pasty. Wasn't your day was it.
  17. Well you're wrong. The rule is that any part of the body is nearer to the goal than the defender that is offside. It was very tight and maybe the benefit should have gone to the attacker but going by the rules he was marginally offside.
  18. I want Rodriguez to do well, he's young, English and seems like a good guy. But the reality is he had a spell of about 5 games around March time last year where he was excellent and that really has been about it, there is a good player in there somewhere but at the moment he wouldn't be in my first XI once Ramirez and Osvaldo are up to speed.
  19. Wow, you seem very upset, that pie must have been awful
  20. It was offside, it was one of those where it was so tight maybe the benefit should go with the attacker, but he was just ahead of play when the ball was played, it was very, very tight but he was just off.
  21. He ran out of time as he has to think about Watfords match these weekend,
  22. Not sure why he's taking responsibility for a defender falling Asleep 3 minutes into a game at a dead ball. Maybe it was a tactical decison he made.
  23. That's one of the reasons why yanks and canadians are so fat.
  24. I agree, thought we looked a bit light weight down the right, he was excellent in the middle though.
  25. Seriously. Were you there for the football or to stuff your fat faces?
