    Fat Sam

I see the terrible manager is being lauded on MOTD for his 'brilliant' tactics in their 3-0 away win at spurs today. Not one goal from a long ball either. Funny that from a team that just hits It long and hopes.
  2. 14 assists from left back says he wasn't and was an effective player for us at that level.
  3. He's always had quite a laid back style. I don't remember too many complaining about it when he turned to the abusing Pompey fans at Fratton Park whilst he was waiting for them to return a ball for him to take a throw in, stood in front of them, eyeballing them as they gave him a torrent of abuse and didn't bat an eyelid, compare that to the frightened rabbit in the headlights look in the eyes Lundekvam had when we lost 4-1 there, for that he will always be a legend in my eyes. He's not a premier league player but his failings have never been a lack of effort or a lack of bottle, just simply a lack of ability.
  4. Not great? Its a f*cking disgrace is what it is. People may not rate him but remind me of the times fans giving their own players abuse has had a positive affect? They are our players out there and Fox has been a good player for this club, show him some respect.
  5. Sadly for Danny Fox his excellent performance in our promotion season is now forgotten and when he is inevitably moved on sooner rather than later he'll be remember as a crap player who wasn't good enough for us. The truth is somewhat different, he was signed in the championship and proved himself a very capable left back at that level, sadly for him he was a victim of his own success and whilst he played a big part in our promotion season clearly isn't good enough or the premier league. Unlike Hammond, Chaplow, Sharp & Harding who were moved on before they had the chance for the so called fans to label then 'crap' he's been thrown in to a divison which he isn't good enough for and whilst the others will be remembered as heroes who played their part in an great journey, Fox and Guly now have the indignity of being the crowd boo boys, despite always giving their best and trying 100%, despite ultimately not being good enough. Quite Frankly Fox and Guly deserve a bit more respect, neither are premier league players but have always given their all and they too played a big part in our march up the league, sadly some of our fans seem to have forgotten this and happy to dish out stick to good pros who have played their part for this club. Quite sad but unsurprising that so many people seem to so obsessed with progressing they forget and criticise those who helped us get there.

    MP's record

Swansea had more shots at goal than us today but we won 2-0. Just saying like.
  7. At least we've got someone to blame if we lose now
  8. A fantastic article, really well written and full of FACTS and direct quotes. It's great to see we can rely on the daily fail (pmsl) for comprehensive coverage of our club with factually written pieces containing direct quotes for the player themselves rather than wild speculation we have become accustomed to in most red tops.
  9. If you had a brain you would understand how stupid that comment was.
  10. Remember in league one when a lot of people on here insisted Walcott was nothing more than a sprinter and Chamberlain was already a far better player and had a far superior football brain, based on seeing him play for a season against the might Dagenham and Redbridge and Oldhams of this world. totally ignoring the fact Walcott had been a regular for a champions league side, scored a hatrick for England, scared the life out of Barcelona and so on,. No we were told, Chamberlain is a better player and will go on to be a world beater, just look how he ran rings round Oldhams Gary Borrowdale!!
  11. Again?!!
  12. They won't if they do this. Anyone who knows anything about nutrition and fitness will tell you diet is key to everything. Footballers get paid a fortune these days and they'll always counter that by saying its a short career, well in that case they've got plenty of time to smoke, drink and eat mcdonalds when its over.
  13. I've never taken anything he said seriosuly since a butler called Edmund Blackadder mugged him off about a few missing words from his dictonary.
  14. well ive just done a pretty intense 45 min spin class and the calf was fine, it was a little sore this morning and was 50/50 if i should so it or not, if anything it feels better now. So it's definitely running related, it only happens when i run.
  15. I'm furious. Anyone know where he lives? I want to write Osvaldo Pezzo Di Merda outside his front door.
  16. It's a disgrace isnt it. I'm furious.
  17. Things like this really arent anyone elses business.
  18. it was actually a typo, i meant to put unacceptable instead of acceptable. thanks for the patronising though you haughty c*ck. Care you answer the question?
  19. I just logged on and read this and haven't stopped smiling since, THANK YOU LAWRO, THANK YOu.
  20. Something about being young, hungry and guaranteed to improve.
  21. IF they arent going to start why would they be the first names on the plane?
  22. Exactly who over-rates Cleverly? All i keep hearing about is how crap he is and how he should be no where near the England and Man United teams. It seems he is in fact massively underrated and that the clueless dinlows that have managed the biggest club in Britain and the national team for the last 2 or 3 seasons see something in him that the football genuises that inhabit mongboards and radio phone ins dont.
  23. Lampard!!! You love him dont you!
  24. The usual hype surrounding him. He's a good keeper, broke onto the scene a few years back and was immediately hailed the as the world greatest keeper and the best keeper in the Premier League. The reality is he's still a young by keepers standards and has had to learn his trade in the glare of playing for one of the highest profile clubs in the world. Yes he looks berift of any confidence at the moment and it's no wonder when after one mistake people are questioning if hes good enough anymore. He'll probably go the way of a lot of keepers like Foster, Kirkland, Richard Wright. Rather than being allowed to develop their game naturally they are built up well beyond their ability and level and then destroyed.
