coming from the person who rates a players contribution to a team on what he might have done and now slags Reading off for attracting neutrals on one post then on the next post says attracting neutrals is vital. You couldn't make it up.
-
Read my post on Reading and how well they've done at doing this, post 210,, now read your post above that where you slated Reading for doing this saying 50% of their crowd are neutrals by ours are our own fans. Now think about how utterly stupid your last couple of posts on this subject look. You've made yourself look even more idiotic than usual and that is quite an achievement.

Its good to see Cortese playing hardball and not being pushed around by this money grabbing failure of a manager. I'm sure the court will come down on SFCs side and praise us for not bowing to the demands of someone who was shown up as a grinning, tactically inept bumpkin who was well out of his depth.

Amusing article on Lambert and Lallana (from a Hammer)

This reminds of a time when I was playing golf with Nick Faldo............ -
You really are thick. Take a deep breath, read both our last posts again and try and understand what was said.

'Entertainment' - are you enjoying watching us more under Pochettino?
Turkish replied to 110_Persaint's topic in The Saints
Yet you respond to virtually every post I make. Clearly you think so. -
Just shows what a success they are as a club and how they've grow and created a football hotbed. Whereas we can only attract our own fans, no the coach loads coming from Bideford, Shepton mallet, Cirencester, Hayes and Lewes we were promised when we got promoted by some on here.

Welli for one will miss him, he made some good points. Just a shame anyone who doesn't tow the line in here is abused and called a troll. -
Lallana Voted 2nd Best Young Player By Premier Managers
Turkish replied to Gemmel's topic in The Saints
Lallana isn't even the second best young player at Saints FFS. -

I basing it on what might have happened if they had. Like how you did the other day based on how brilliant Ramirez is based on what might have happened if he'd played more games. -

If Lallana had been rubbish and ruled out for 2 years with a fractured pelvis then £6m for the pair a good deal. -
This is how MLGs world is crabbers.
-
Pretty impressive that when they terrible and in a relegation battle. Imagine how big a stadium they'd need if they were a successful team!
-
But if they had a bigger stadium their average would be higher. And how do you know there aren't literally thousands of Reading fans who think they can't get a ticket do don't even bother trying, like there are at Saints.

Amusing article on Lambert and Lallana (from a Hammer)

If Lambert had been terrible this year and not cut it at all or been out injured all season and gone up to 24 stone then I'd bite their hand off for £6m for him. -

Being honest I didn't even get to the bit about Lallana, for two reasons.i was so outraged they got Rickies age wrong so the article had no credibility and secondly and more truthfully I soon realised it was just a mongboard article with some clown giving his opinion which means nothing. -
So we shouldn't expect building work to start in 2013 or 14 perhaps? Reading, a club you love to use as an example, originally submitted plans in 2007, 6 years ago. Would you expect Cortese to wait this long?
-
What would you define as relatively soon?
-
It can't be 5 years time as Cortese isn't the sort of guy to wait 5 years. What we know is it'll be soon, but that doesn't mean months, it doesn't even mean before 2013 or 14 but its less than 5 years as we know Cortese won't wait that long, with the rugby World Cup which we are hosting that rules out 2015 so I'm struggling a bit to work out when it'll be. We don't know if Cortese not waiting 5 years started today or last year when the OP was made. All we know is that it'll be soon. What we don't know is when soon is.
-
So we only really have this year and next year to get it all done. as Cortese isn't the sort of guy to hang around 5 years, MLG said this himself only today. I don't understand what the hold up can be, we really need to get a move on with this.
-
Interesting stuff. We might expect the builders to move in straight after the Stoke game then, Perhaps?
-
True, and Cortese doesn't seem like the sort of guy to hang around, we shouldn't underestimate his determination to make this happen. Just we can't be sure how 'soon' this will be. It certainly doesn't look like its going to be within months, maybe it's within years?
-
No, you're assuming that is what I meant, I'm asking you, we are a year on and no announcement, what did you mean by soon? We have some more pretty pictures, nothing more. Not really moving very quickly for someone so determined to push this through quickly is it.
-
Well you said you expect it to be announced soon, that was a year ago, we seem to be no closer. I was wondering what the basis for this assumption was.
