  1. Get a 320d mate, I think the only other car I'd consider buying is an A5 or an A4, (apart from a massarati or DB9 of course) a great car for the money and will last you for years.
  2. Before the old archers and Milton were demolished it really was a great old ground. Love the footage from that era, seems like a different world to the rent a fan, corporate propaganda machine that is modern day soccerball with It's match day experience and celebrity chairmen.
  3. Maybe if you drank a bit less and exercised a bit more you could.
  4. Next up for me is Johnny marr at Leess uni on the 13th October.
  5. To be told that if you need to be sponsored not to drink for a while then Maybe you have bigger issues than you realise?
  6. If its anything like this then we will all have something to smile about. IIRC that was Le Tiss first good goal for us. [video=youtube;rD6dn-a6E7E]
  7. at least a marathon requires considerable training and effort and is an achievement, it would be a different story if it was a 5k run.
  8. Probably more Perry Groves and Robbie Slater.
  9. I'm off to the Domican Republic for two weeks soon and will be looking for sponsors to help me swim with dolphins, the money collected will go towards funding a trip to Peru where i will follow the Inca trail to raise money for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
  10. The "Look like a Wotsit" chants will destroy him.
  11. It's an honourbable charity but seriously, sponsoring people not to put posion inside their bodies for a month, WTF? THis will be followed by a Movember, where blokes have the virtually impossible task of not shaving their upper lip for a month, wow, how will they manage it, great opportunity for lots of "selfies" on facebook though FFS. Its absolutely the ridiculous the things people are getting sponsored for the these days. My most hated though has to be "sponsor me to climb Killmangiro" and that type of thing. Claims they are doing it for charity, yeah right, having a holiday and trying to make themselves feel good about it. FFS
  12. I saw every one of his championship games and what i saw was a reasonably good player against midtable championship opposition and a player who would be popular with the fans because he runs around a lot. He might be alright as a squad player in the premier league for a while but no way is he good enough for where we say we want to be.
  13. He said the same thing about Mayuka, now i'm sure he's saying that it's great hes out on loan.

But it's not aimed at them (Jews) its aimed at spurs. These people were offended that some people were calling other people who probably werent Jews 'yids'. It's like someone calling a white person a n*gger or p-ki and someone who was black or asian being offended by it.
  19. I have already sent a strongly worded email to the BBC. How dare he not Say Rickie was brilliant and will start every single game for England for the rest of his life. What a tosser.

Great, so that confirms that its nothing to do with chanting anti Semitic stuff to Jews, its to do with Spurs.

I get the whole thing about the hissing and "spurs are on their way to auchwitz" songs, they should be banned but seriously, calling Tottenham something they call themselves as a term of affection, how is this offensive? There are two things people seem to be ignoring in their haste to be 'outraged' firstly its a Tottenham thing, not a Jewish thing, its a hatred of spurs, not of Jews. Also what Jewish players have complained about anti Semitic abuse? If Yosi Benayoun or Ben Haim had been complaining about getting abuse then it might carry some weight, but have they? I can't recall it if they have. People talk about raising awareness but it seems that its more a case of people being 'outraged' by something that isn't there. As i say I don't condone the auchwitz stuff but who really is offended by calling spurs fans Yids, when that is what they call themselves.

The thing people seem to be Ignoring is that it has absolutely nothing to so with Jews, its a Tottenham thing.

I think we do now people have raised awareness of anti-semitism, before no one gave a toss but now we have people making us aware of it we have been told we care so can all be outraged by it, or something.
