  1. I wonder if there is some bellend on Tottenhams forum arguing that their women should not play at Orient as their players aren't good enough role models for them.
  2. Yep and same for England. However if you dare to say anything that doesn't toe the party line of how amazing it all is then you immediately get jumped on by those who are desperate to jump on the bandwagon of any cause going. Any even suggestion otherwise is having a problem with it. Look at this thread, a few people raise the rightly valid point that it probably costs the club to play matches at St Marys and would it be better to play them elsewhre at a smaller ground, you know like what Chelsea, Man City, London, Everton, Spurs etc all do and you get jumped on for being a dinosaur talking bollocks 😂
  3. at least they're accelerating the end to asylum hotels so there will be plenty of space to put them in.
  4. Record number of illegal migrants crossed the channel this weekend. Smashing the gangs going really well
  5. That London City Lionesses are run by dinosaurs who talk bollocks
  6. It is the obvious answer to so that. Maybe they could do an arrangement with Eastleigh or Totton to use their stadiums which would be suitable for most matches and it seems to be what other clubs do. They’d also make some profit on it rather than is make a probable loss Chelsea play at Kingsmeadow and Man City play at their academy stadium so it’s not some radical, misogynistic suggestion that it might be a good idea we do similar highly amusing that if anyone suggests it though they’re dinosaurs talking bollocks 🤣🤣🤣🤣
  7. YES!!
  8. When you ask for something in a cafe or something, "can i have two cofffees please?" and they reply "of course you can"
  9. Remember when he said the womens team will be bigger than the mens 😂
  10. Brighton particularly had the balance right though. They also signed James Milner, Danny Wellbeck, Lallana, along with the likes of Lewis Dunk, Solly March who have been there years. They've also spent big at times to, they have 11 players who cost more than our record transfer fee. They have struck a balance of experience, quality and YHGTIers. It might all go wrong but they've got it very right at the moment
  11. the sort of record breaking "success" we bred wasn't quite what they planned.
  12. I have zero issue with this, it's the reality for all about 3 clubs in the world. Some clubs, like we did for a while, do it very well. What i have an issue with about Saints is that is the only strategy. We stopped bringing in experienced players to build a solid core and instead tried to build a team pretty entirely of players we wanted to sell in two years time. We never looked at who could do a job for us now, it was all about how much we can sell them for in the future.
  13. None of them give a shit about anyone. It's time people stopped deluded themselves about this.
  14. Guess it was a case of resign or be sacked. I'm sure if she was a Tory this place would be full of people incandescent with rage about how all they care about is themselves, Tory scum etc but as shes Labour it's all a shame really. We know how it works.
  15. That's one way of looking at it. It doesn't actually say if they were trying to avoid tax nor not, but it does show a lot of the aggressive and ruthless tactics of HMRC which are shameful. I'm not really sure how these things work with regard to tax dodges etc but what it does show is they trusted a group of people that befriended them and were absolutely ripped off by some scumbags.
  16. Anyone else buzzing for how much money we’ll get for Robinson next summer? 💰 💰
  17. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c07p7v2nn8mo Dear me, we never hear the end of how stretched the police are but they can send 5 armed officers to an airport to arrest someone for saying nasty things on twitter. It's absolutely bonkers.
  18. This is exactly what happened. I wont ruin it for you as very interesting and sad program but they got a few respected names on board and suddenly they were all at it with the "just tell me what to do and i'll do it" attitude like you say. The guys running the company befriended them, there were pictures of them with players at their weddings and so they put all their trust in them.
  19. The reason he didn't was particularly sobering. He thought if he killed himself it would rid his wife and family of the debt, but it wouldnt have, the debt would have transferred to his wife. They said this was the only reason he didnt.
  20. Patience brother
  21. You’re welcome llss
  22. Maybe someone can explain this to me as I don’t get it you earn money which you pay tax on. You then invest that money but lose it. How do you then get a massive tax bill which drives to you bankruptcy? You’ve already paid tax on the money invested and have lost it all, not made any profit from it, which whilst I don’t agree with it can understand why you might be taxed on the profit
  23. Very interesting programme on right now about a group to 90s footballers who got fleeced by an investment company called Kingbridge. One of them our very own Rod Wallace One thing I’m glad off is that it exposes HMRC for the ruthless, money grabbing bunch of wankers they are. If this was a private company there would be laws brought it to stop their bullying behaviour which has driven people to suicide
  24. Let’s face it if it wasn’t them we’d all have this down as a guaranteed 3 points. This is the sort of team we should be beating comfortably at home. They’re at best midtable. Of course it being them adds a lot of spice but take the emotion out 9/10 we win comfortably
