last season Russ was a bit prickly and defensive when things weren't going well too. Be interesting to see how he reacts if we start badly. We surely cant be as bad as we were last time round though, especially the Jones era
-
yes. just watching the womens 10k. They're running 10k at 3 minutes per KM.

FACT check. It wasn't 6 players at all at the start and not all of them made us better. Rodriguez didn't start well, he wasn't great for the first 6 months or so and at times looked out of his depth. He didn't score until the end of October. He was better after January though and really kicked on when Pochetino came in. Boruc joined as a free transfer at the end of September when the club realised they'd fucked up the keeper positions with Davis and Gazzaniga clearly not up to it. Boruc made his debut end of October then got dropped shortly after due to that stupid incident in the home game where fans moaned he'd thrown a bottle at them. He didn't play again until January. Mayuka was absolutely shit and did nothing the whole time he was here. We started the season with Danny Fox at left back, Shaw didn't start a league game until November. Yoshida was possibly a step up from Holiveld who quickly got shown to be out of his depth but he wasn't some defensive lynchpin, he was then and always a pretty average squad player for a bottom half premier league team. Clyne and S Davis definitely made the first team better. Ramirez blew hot and cold but was arguably an improvement too. We started the season with Davis in goal, Fox and Holiveld in defence, a 17 year old JWP in midfield with Guly and Jason Puncheon in the team. We had Dan Seaborne, BIlly Sharp and Frazer Richardson on the bench FFS.
-
that was the following season. We signed Osvaldo, Wanyama and Lovren. Quality not quantity, although Osvaldo did turn out to be a lunatic.
-
that's got to be a plant or a wind up FFS. No one can be that dense.
-
why do you keep spouting this bollocks? The premier league is unforgiving if you aren't a good player at any age you get exposed. We tried gambling on a load of players who needed 3-4 years to develop 2 years ago, it failed.

20 months for posting a message on facebook, dear me.

we finger the CoT bike there too. Make of that what you will

i always found the jerk the hardest bit, the clean was okay. You need to drop under it but you see so many people not doing it properly and trying to press some of it which makes it impossible once the weights get bigger, having 200kg plus above your head, wow.
-
i heard "big numbers in his snatch" earlier, raised a giggle.
-
the power lifters are incredible, currently clean and nearly 200kg, more than double what i was ever able to do.
-
meanwhile they are investigating a second police officer for the incident......
-
well we cant be that desperate for cash as we've had offers on the table for all 3 for a while.

I've watched his video about the Syrian boy it was shared on twitter recently and viewed by about 20 million people i think. I'll let you make your own mind up about it. It's certainly interesting. I watched it as i wanted to see what the hype was about. It certainly isn't anything worse than other stuff i've seen on line and didn't se anything libellous.
-
considering our lack of options up front at the moment then you might be right.

He's a strange one alright. West Ham seemed the obvious fit but looks like that ship has sailed. He's the sort of players that's good for us but probably not good enough that a team much better than us would want him, which means a sideways move.
-
can you explain why they are a disgrace? Like it or not there are issues and he's right, they do need cleaning up. It was a very well reasoned post and i cant see what's wrong with the last 6 words.

Some conspiracy theorists believe he is a paid actor by the government to cause division. Some people think he's a right wing racist. Whatever you think of him he has a lot of supporters. Im not talking about the idiots who go around getting sniffed up and smashing things up, but the 100,000 or so who attended the protest a few weekends ago. They were people of all races, sexes and backgrounds. The narrative that everyone is part of the EDL (which even Robinsons says hasn't existed for over a decade) and football hooligans is putting a label on it to cause division. The biggest problem is that working class people, the type of people that used to be described as salt of the earth and the country was built on want change. They voted for it in 2016 and didn't get it and if people get ignored then it stirs up resentment which is happening now. Things will die down now you'd think, the thugs have got it out of their system, there will be lots of arrests, prison sentences etc but Robinson has got a lot of support for a reason and people are blaming the symptom not the cause of it.

It’s only right that he does. He demanded evidence from me yesterday of this I said he’d said and I provided two direct quotes of him saying them. So unless there are more double standards then he should provide them. I suspect he’ll do what he usually does, go quiet for a few days then reappear like nothing ever happened

Careful SOG they are arresting old people for sharing false information on social media, maybe some of your fairytales on here will be investigated. Better sleep with your shoes on waiting for the 5 o’clock knock.

Classic case of S2 syndrome

There seems to be a lot of amazing coincidences when it comes to the CoT

Here what happened, it was one of two things 1 you completely made it up 2 you heard a story about someone getting their car window smashed in Bristol and in your excitement to blame the “far right” you deliberately made it about race, mentioning the colour of her skin so you could post all night about all the terrible things going on and how you know someone who was effected Both are feasible but I still think it’s 1
-
Pardon me you asked me for evidence earlier and I provide you with two direct quotes you had made stating exactly what I said you did
