The image it projects of my club and city Matthew. I know this sort of thing doesn't matter on computer games but in the real world it does to those who care about how our club is perceived
-
And because he said f*ck he should have been arrested anyway. Apparantly.
-
It shames our club having Middle aged men dressed like prats. Last year I saw a bloke in his 60s wearing an elf hat and there is usually a bloke in the northam who wear reindeer antlers. When I saw them last season I had never been so embarrassed to be a saints fan.
-
So you don't think it's a good Idea we have found a way to bring more money into the club and keep it from our rivals? And for praising this I am called a di*k? Maybe it's not me that has the issue here but your difficulty in dealing with your simplistic approach.
-
I'm not arguing about anything. Merely giving credit to our chairman where it's due.
-
And rightly so! Think you need to have a word with your Missus mate, I thought she would know better than to ask such a question!

I know Christmas is a tense time and a crucial period for clubs with so many games packed so close together and Saturday is a huge game for SFC with a real relegation six pointer. However can I plead with you not to let your festive spirit overflow into the stands on Saturday and not shame the name of our great football club by Embarassing us with behaviour not befitting of being a true saints fan. This includes but is not limited to; The wearing of Santa hats The wearing of elf hats The wearing of reindeer antlers Last year our club was shamed by fans engaging in such behaviour and I hope that the 'kick fancy dress out' campaign TSW has run this year is effective in stamping out this sort of disgraceful behaviour. Remember just because you're at a football match it doesn't mean you can dress and act like a p*ick. KICK iT OUT.

It's an easy mistake. They do say the most stylish blokes the gay so i would forgive people for making that mistake with me.
-
So what's the problem then? Wouldn't you rather the profit go to us than Chelsea? Yoi have to hand it to the chairman, what a genius way of making sure we get a bigger cut of hate receipts. What a great bit of chairmanship.
-
Look at the bigger picture. its pretty evident that the ticket office is run as its own cost centre. With the ticket tax from this match alone this could fund investment in new staff and improve the things that are currently needing tweaking. We've all enjoyed the benifits off the bar code scanners and new ticketing software, if this years areas for improvement are extra heads at the coal face improving out matchday experience then don't you think it's worth it? I think it's tremendous foresight from the chairman.
-
Why are they a joke? How else are we meant to find the cost of consumables and posting and the fantastic bar code scanners we all enjoy. Not to mention the fact that the ticket charges on 25000 will probably cover the wages of 4 ticket office staff which would lead to a more efficent service and a greater customer experience. The ones complaining about it are clearly the split 'I want it all and I want it all for nothing' generation.

I have just brought a car for several tens of times more than the cost of a season ticket and there was a £90 admin fee. I think the admin shows a tremendous amount of market research from the chairman to bring us in line with other leisure price models. A tremendous piece of chairmanship.

I'm sure people like Egg will be applauding the FA for this action.
-
Does this word offend you? It does the FA they have just fined Liverpools Suso £10k for tweeting 'this guy is gay' at his mate Enrique who has just had his teeth whitened. Isn't this just banter between mates? WTF is this country coming to. Even Enrique used twitter to say 'it is amazing the FA can fine my friend for a banter thing'

One of things that always amuses me bout our liberal live and let live, self important superstars on here is their quick condemnation of the Tories and anti everything they do stance. They'd like to see a mans career ruined just so they can be outraged. As ever, incredible hypocrisy.
-
Why isn't it acceptable? Do you want us to so a Pompey?!
-
This. It's great news we are being run as an effective business in a modern way in line with other forms of entertainment.
-
I don't understand all the complaining. We have been offered an excellent price for tickets for his match. Do people think match day expenditure is less? Oh no, this remains the same. So why do people assume that they should be given cheaper prices? It a kind gesture from the chairman to allow fans to pay a very reasonable price to see the cup holders begin their defence of the trophy. Yet all we get is whining about the booking fee. We certainly do have a fan base of glass half emptiers and whiners. I applaud Cortese for the excellent value on offer for this game and understand that the cost of tickets, ink, printers, staff and postage is ever increasing. I for one am grateful we have a chairman that allows us to watch the FA Cup holders at a good price and also ensures costs are covered internally so we never have to stare the abyss of administration in the face again. If you truly back the chairman you should do the same.

Who we've been linked with for January thread...
Turkish replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
Jon Gittens, sold for £60k resigned for £600k. The most famous one of course would be Mick Channon. -
There is every chance that these moon landings were real, didn't someone once say Saints would never achieve back to back promotions?
-
How utterly cringeworthy was the news tonight, so the big question, did he or did he not falsify a statement that said he said the word 'pleb'? WTF has this country come to? It's embarassing.

Who or what has been significant in our turnaround?
Turkish replied to up and away's topic in The Saints
It was a guarenteed minimum of 15 minutes. There are no guarentees how long injury time would be so he had to come on with at least 15 minutes to play otherwise we were in breach of contract. Anyway, the clause has now been removed. -

Positive. I'm mates with a steward who minds Corteses private bog, he overheard him and Sibley discussing it while Sibley was holding Corteses toilet roll. -

as added time was a variable that was never part of the contractual arrangement, -
It's a new word which is a when the number of people is more than some but less than many. Somemany is that amount.
