Because its a Saints site and he is a Saints player. I'll make sure every thread I post is approved by you in future.

No, I said it was arrogant of us to expect it, we were only just out of L1. Which it was. It seems we are happy to slag off other fans for being arrogant and deluded yet at the same time applaud anyone who claims we are bigger than Everton, on an unstopabble march to the champions lewgue and players will be desperate to join us over established premier league clubs as ambitious. You can't beat the hypocrisy found on Internet mong boards.
-
It was dumbass that said forget the owners we can outbid Swansea because we are charging more for seats and have a bigger ground despite the fact we haven't sold a single ticket yet. For the record I never said we can't outbid them. Just that it's incredibly arrogant to assume we can and players will be falling over each other to join us when Swansea have done better than us for the last 4 seasons and already have a year of premier league money.

What are you on about? I just said his house was up for sale.
-
Rubbish. Connor Wickham to Sunderland for £10m. Steve Fletcher from Burnley to Wolves for £6.5m. Shane Long £7m. Yes you can get foreigners cheaper but if you want English talent it costs that sort of money.
-
I guess having a bid of £6.5m accepted for Jay Rod means this article is a load of bollo*ks then.

This would be an excellent signing. Lets hope it happens. -
I didn't say he was. Just that his house is up for sale, which IMO considering where it is, is a bit strange. Maybe he's got a Huge pay rise due to promotion and is moving to a f*cking castle.
-
I've been advised on good authority and no I'm not naming them, that Kevin Davis house in Chilworth is up for sale. Seems a bit strange as he's got a nice little plot there tucked away and private. The good authority has been spot on in the past, he told me about Nige being appointed before it was in the public domain, Fontes signing and the Jemmel deal falling through. Anyway, his house is up for sale and it seems a bit odd to me. Make of that what you will.

I think Sunderland fans have as well.
-
And in mine.

When you consider Connor Wickham cost Sunderland £8m possibly up to £12m with add ons £6.5m is a good deal.

He sounds like he'd be ideal for the time wasting 93rd minute substitute when 2-1 up. -
Where does it say the TV revenue is swallowed up by operating costs and debt? It actually says the increased revenues made them meet their liabilities and return a profit. Not something that a lot of premier league clubs have achieved for a long time. It really isn't a difficult concept to grasp dumbass , how old are you?. They earnt £48m minimum more than us last season. Thier bills went up, so did their income. Remember we aren't taking into account owners wealth here. Why do you think we are so much richer despite having earnt at least £48m less?
-
Well it looks like its going to be if you like it or not. And if we do well in it everyone will remember it. Do you think people would still love the Keegan kit if it had been worn in the era relegation stuggles and worn by the likes of Gordon Hobson and Gerry Forest?
-
/\ a loss of £8m, covered by the prize money for 11th place finish. Leaves them with the £40m TV money plus whatever else they've made from gates, merchandise, sponsorship etx. They predicted a profit for this year and according to your report are in a sound financial position with a "modest" wage bill. As per the below report. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/swansea-city/9013702/Swansea-manager-Brendan-Rodgers-aims-to-convert-long-ball-believers.html So the prize money alone wipes out last years losses without touching the any other income. Meanwhile Saints turnover was around £12m last accounts, Sigurdssons fee alone is more than half that. Are you suggesting we spend half our total turnover on one players transfer fee????!!! Come on dumbass, you need to try harder.
-
I'm getting this seasons shirt with Shaw - 3 on the back, the champions league badge and the number 5, basge of honour next to it for how many times we will have won it by 2020. If that's alright with you of course.
-
But that is not money we have already earnt is it. That's money that will come in the future. Swansea have already banked this seasons money. Are you suggesting we spend money we don't have? It was you that said forget the owners don't forget.
-
One of the most popular kits we've ever had was the 1985 one which was red with white and black bits on the shoulder.
-
I like it. It's something a bit different.
-
Come on dumbass, let's do this another way. I'm sure it's quite simple for you to explain. Forgetting our owner, Swansea earnt at least £48m more than us last season. Please explain how we can outbid them. It should be easy for you to do.
-
Err, according to you actually.
-
£40m more than us, dumbass. Why should we be able to outbid them?
-
Do we? How much is Swanseas wage bill oh knowledgable one?
