Yep, we had all the happy clappy, "but, but, but He's a Saints fan he wont leave" with Wayne Brige. "but, but, but he'd be better staying with us for another season" With AOC, "but, but, but, he likes it here, Spurs is the poison chalice" with Hoddle. What happened with all of them? Add into the mix the numerous other players who've done the same from other clubs over the years you soon realise it isn't very mature or realisic or sensible or god damned logical to say a player wont leave because they like it here when a bigger club comes calling. Logic says he will. Saying he wont go because he likes it here is not logical or sensible it's happy clappy foam handed waving deluded bullsh*t, but we should expect nothing else on here.

It will reflect our season if we go up tonight. All a bit of an anti climax. Obviously i dont mean by winning promtion but the 4 times this season we've really had the chance to do something spectacular, ie x 2 v the Skates, Reading and 'boro it's been an anti-climax. Therefore we'll probably go up tonight, but it'll not be the joyous outpouring of emotion and celebration we'd have had by doing it ourselves.

If it's alright for Prince Harry.......

Get the foamhands on for Marcus?

I quite agree. We are great when we are dominating teams and knocking the ball around. When we need to dig in and backs to the wall job we are often found wanting. More balls in defence and midfield is exactly what we need.

Irony alert. No it isn't logical at all. The logical answer when a huge club like Liverpool come calling with far more money on offer than they'd ever dreamed of is for the player is to leave. If you think about it sensibly history is littered with more players leaving than there is with of players staying just because they're a great guy and love the fans. Logically if he went to Liverpool he'd have every chance of winning trophies immediately as well as playing for the club he supports. Unless maybe some of you can come with some more logical answers and examples of players who've turned down bigger clubs and logically why he would stay, if it's the logical answer there must be thousands of them. I await your sensible and logical answers.

I'm glad you are on here and with your wisdom as a 19 year old virgin student can inform us all what a 30 year old professional footballer with a missus and kids would want to do if his home town club were to bid for him.

What is bigotted and stupid about not wanting to have to see some fat f*cker in a mankini?
-
Exactly, this sort of mong type behaviour is for clubs like Reading, not us. You don't see Man United, Spurs or Leeds fans dressed up in gimp suits, silly hats, costumes and wigs.
-
Can you please explain how dressing up like a moron is "having a laugh"? I'd love to know what I'm missing out on and a lot of us don't seem to be getting it.
-
Do you live in Coventry? I had no idea!

Blackpool, Reading, Middeslborough, Ipswich, Skates. All games we have lost or dropped points in In the last 11 games due to individual errors. In truth we rarely concede great goals, a lot of goals we conede are from cock ups. I wonder if some people watch the same team as me. We are flat track bullies, great when we are on top but when our backs are against the wall and we need to grind out a win we are usually found wanting.
-
It is embarrassing. Sme of them were in there 30s and 40s. Why do they feel the need to do it?
-
No other club has got fans as crazy as ours mate!
-
Good day out met some interesting characters. By that I mean interesting boro fans with a few stories and proper fans not clowns dressed in wigs and gimp suits drawing attention to themselves.
-
Just got In mate. In the gate right now.

F*ck me there are two weirdos like you about them.

Utter bollix. We didn't win at Leeds because we defended brilliantly. We won because they couldn't finish their dinner and some outstanding goal keeping and luck. That was not a great defensive display. As I've said before its easay to to be a great defender when you have 65% possession. How many time have our defence kept. Clean sheet at 0-0 or 1-0? We always look likely to concede when a team outs us under pressure.
-
I've been saying this for months but got shouted down around Christmas time for daring to question our defensive hero. He has not been good all season people are finally waking up to it.
-
So are you denying you post on the UI as Dirk Dunne or whatever you call yourself on there?
-
I just hope thy didn't read this forum. Lots of "too much effort" type comments. I keep hearing how great it is to be a Saints fan right nw yet this only seems to apply when it's. Nice local awaygame or glamour home game.
-
Yes i did notice the empty seats and I found it very strange. As must have you. Didn't you say only this week no club has ever had any problem filling their newly built stadiums. build it and they will come. Oh.
-
DespIte all the **** on here we lost the game because ultimately we didn't clear our lines twice. Despite the hero worship given to our, it has to be said, average centre halves neither have done that much this season. It's easy to be a great. Defender when youve got 60% possession and are 3-0 up how many times has our defence held onto a 1-0 lead when our backs are against the wall? None is my observation. People will talk about Leeds but in truth that was poor finishing not because our defence was ruthless. Yet again 3 point were thrown away due to defensive cock ups. We woe be up and champions by now if we knew how to defend!

Always the bridesmaid mate. Apart from 76 it seems to be in our genes.
