Walter believes that form is temporary and class is permenant. Walter believes that a confident player in a good side can perform above his natural ability levels. Walter thinks that the FACT that every England manager since 2005 had picked Green and none have picked Davis is proof which keeper is superior. Indeed, sometimes I'm not sure if this forum is deluded or idiotic. Davis is a competent keeper and a really good guy who I'm sure could do a good job in the premier league for a season or two. Green is a definite step up. A proven premier league and international goalkeeper and crucially a lot younger and just coming into his prime. How anyone can think this is anything other than an excellent signing is beyond me. Either we are setting our sights for new players far too high or have a massively inflated view of our current players ability.

Belstaff is a timeless classic sunshine. At the top end, which obviously id be looking at CP, like Stone Island still make some lovely pieces. For the mid range forget it as for £250-£450 a lot better value for money can be found elsewhere.

In the case of Davis and Green it is black and white. 4 England managers have picked Green, none have ever picked Davis. Goalkeepers aren't like other positions where they also have to fit into tactics and systems as much as outfield players. Why have the last 4 England managers picked Green over Davis everytime?

We are not a true premier league club until we've signed a few crap foreigners, got in loads of debt, had a player cleared in a sexual assault trial and had a player appear on footballers pads on MTV. We also don't have nearly enough players with tattoos. Danny Fox is our only premier class player on that score. We have a long way to go yet.

Baines is good, but much as I hate Ashely Cole and don't want him to be, he is still one of the best left backs around.

The fact that 4 Different England managers over a 7 year period have consistently picked Green and not one of them has ever picked Kelvin Davis is pretty strong evidence which one is better, no?

Yet despite all this 4 England managers over the last 6 years have all picked him for England and he's kept Davis out of the squad who many on here claim is better. Still what do they know he's clearly gash and only there because there is no one else.

What are you on about? He has rejected a new contract with West Ham and told them he wants to leave. Gold is on record as saying no one at West ham wanted him to go. And despite his apparent lack of ability he's still in the squad ahead of some other decent goalkeepers. Foster and Robinson to name but two.

Would be a great signing. England international, loads of experience, a good age for a goalkeeper and on a free. It's all very well wanting young players but you need experience in key areas as well.
