  1. Oh dear, not getting it are you. Having observed my friends children some of which are still together and some of them aren't, I can honestly say the children with the parents who are together are happier than the ones that aren't. In fact a good friend of mine only keeps their marriage together because when they split up for a while the little boy was very unhappy, despite how they feel about each other the happiness of their child is the priority. All very Victorian I know but it seems to be the case in my experience.
  2. Why do you give a f*ck? I work In Reading and am surrounded by plastic Spurs, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal fans. Funnily enough a lot of them have been Reading fans as well since Christmas. Those "fans" will never feel what it's like to win a big game. They'll never understand how it feels to grab a stranger Inside a football ground hugging each other and going mental because we've just scored a goal in a local derby. A sky sports subscription doesn't give you that. whenever any of these replica shirt clad idiots start giving it the big one I tell then they can talk to me about football when they actually go to a game until then their opinion means f*ck all.
  3. So what we are saying is everyone on this thread thinks asking the FIL for his aproval is absolutely the correct thing to do apart from BTF who thinks it makes the lady chattel and a possession to give away. I'm not suggesting she has a chip on her shoulder it but.............
  4. widowed parents is totally different, they haven't chosen not to stay together have they! Its better for a child to have both parents around, I know it doesn't fit in with your attempts to be cool but that is how it is.
  5. This thread is comedy gold
  6. Probably one of the greatest SFC pictures ever. The players are hating it.
  7. Yeah, it's was on Terrestrial, f*ck sky.
  8. Nope as I say, was full of JCLs, that ain't for me. I'm sure my seat went to some giant foam hander bulb who had their annual ay out away from their wife.
  9. So what do you think of the view that children are less likely to be little f*ckers if both parents are about and Strong families result in a decent up bring for a child. Or is that too Victorian for your cool, modern views? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/comment/5008047/A-strong-family-and-small-state-ought-to-go-hand-in-hand.html
  10. I didn't go, because the ground was full of JCLs and people on Facebook banging on about how much they were looking forward to seeing Man United.
  11. Again an excellent post. I'd go regardless of who we were playing. I really cant get excited about us seeing playing Man U and Chelsea. It really doesn't interst me. I go to see Saints

  21. Of course Timy, of course. You know do much about me. You seem quite bitter bless you xx
  22. Far from it. I expect us to go up. Just I'm not overly fussed about doing it.
  23. To be fair he's got a point, we do seem to be always the bridesmaid. Last season we should have walked league one, we didn't. Weve had chances all season to put daylight between us and the lack we haven't. We've got a history of runners up in cup finals apart from one as a huge underdog. The only time we seem to win big games when there is a lot of stake is In a relegation battles.
  24. Oh, you didn't go then?
  25. What were they doing at St Mary's?
