No, no mikey, not by proxy. I have first hand exprience of black youth culture in this country. But as already said, you have all the answers.
-
But strong enough to go around taking what isn't theres, playing the bad man and carrying guns and knives around.
-
Put it this way, they aren't my mates. And no, it's not because they're black before people use that one.
-
yes you could do and there were quite a few of them in my first hand experience as well, but there was a very high proportion compared to white people And what has what i've done got to do with anything?
-
No, i'm not myself an underprivileged black youth and Super Mikey isn't either. He asked if he had any direct experience of it and i have, I've spent a lot time around them and a very good mate of mine works with them on a daily basis, thanks all the same.
-
I do. And i can tell you know Super M that a lot of them thrive in the "bad man" image. They dont want to be anything other than the big man. That is coming from my own first hand experience and the tales of a mate of mine who is a youth worker in Walworth. Although i am sure if i pm'd you his number you'd be able to call him up and put him right.

The liberal elite on here will decided what is racist on here, okay SM.
-
What, do you mean the type of posters that describe burning down buildings, looting shops and destroying peoples livelihoods as a right of passage? That kind of saner member of TSW?
-
Are you really that think to realise that people cant decide for themselves if they want to become a criminal or not? That they get free education up the age of 18 and have every opportunity to be educated to at least A level standard for nothing. You really are rivally BTF for the forum Head stuck in the sand award.
-
THis thread is what makes TSW great. The sheer head-in-the-sandness of some on here defies belief.

Doesn't stop people going into trades or industries where this doesn't matter though. There are 1000's of career paths out there. Prison and probation provide support on this. People have such great expectiations of how much they should earn and the careers they should have. The average wage in this country is about £25k, yet there is talk of benefits being capped at £25k. There really is no incentive for people to to work in lower paid jobs. There is a poor work ethic and high expectiton and materialistic culture in our country.

I didn't say i begrudge him his move, that is totally fair enough. If you check my posts in the past i've said i fully expect him to leave and understand his reasons. What i dont like is the way his dad and then him showed a lack of class and respect for SFC and it's fans by engineering the move via the press. And dont say he made a mistake, he's a kid etc, he's got advisors, agents, his old man was a pro footballer, they knew the score. Do you think he did that interview without speaking to any of the first? None of the other players you mentioned followed this course. Still if your happy for players to come out and basically say they dont want to play for us anymore and think they are too good for us then thats up to you.
-
Correct you do. However, there are companies out there that will take a punt on you if you are prepared to work hard and start at the bottom and show a bit of humility. There are always opportunites out there if you are prepared to take them. Another problem with these little mugs is their arrogance, they dont want to graft, dont want to work their way up, they want it all now and expect the rewards without putting in the effort.
-
What about them?
-
I speak honestly and realistically. Yes he did, coming out in the papers saying you are want to leave, implying you are too good for us and basically mugging off the people that pay your wages is a lack of class and respect. Walcott and Bale never did such a thing. His age is no excuses, it's not like he hasn't got advisors and agents and examples of other players to use as an example of what not to do.
-
It sure aint Johnno QUick.
-
It cant just be conicidence that he scores everytime i do.
-
What a player Johnno Quick is. Fantastic.
-
You know you are a massive club when you can bring someone like Johnno Quick on,what with his incredible strength and unbelievable pace. What with his scoring record of a goal every start then you'd have to be some player to get into a side ahead of him.
-
Would this be the father that wanted his son out of Saints as soon as possible? Would this be the player that came out in the papers, showed a lack of respect for Southampton FC and all it's fans by basically saying he thought he was too good for us now? Thanks for the £12m or whatever it is Arsenal. As for Chamberlain, i dont care what happens to him nowand i certainly dont wish him luck. He's not one of us anymore and unlike Walcott and Bale, showed a disctinct lack of respect and class in getting his move.

I am sure they will be dealt with one way or another.
-
As has been said above. Because they can and for the buzz.

May reasons. Lack of discpline at home in school, lack of respect for authority, lack of fear and respect of the police, authority and of prisons. brought up to believe the world owes them a living, backed up by the do-gooders justifying it by saying they need to be given things to do, schemes and opportunities etc, ie everything handed to them on plate. The do gooders with their softly softly approach, the "gangsta" culture, some of them love the "bad man" image. And they know they can get away with it, a copper on radio 5 said today some of the people arrested have been nicked 13 or 14 times before for serious crimes but nothing happens to them in court and if the locals are too scared to speak to the police about crimes that dont get solved for fear of reprisals.

Kind of pi*ses on the argument that they are all poor and doing it because they cant afford nice trainers. Crime for the sake of crime.
