  1. Do I say not as I do Norm.
  2. The usual sparkling contribution from Cul De Sac Saint (PMSL this changing names is hilarious) obvious some of you are too think to get it but obviously 32k is big enough because we've proven we can fill that. For it to be worth the 36 million quid it would cost to sling an extra 12,000 seats on the top arguments like we could fill 44k because QPR and Wolves might need a bigger ground and we could fill it, it's possible don't rule it out, they did say man would never walk on the moon Ain't going convince a billionaire business family that it is money well spent. However a 20th successive home win, our highest league position side 2005 and 10000 empty seats might convince them that it ain't needed for the forseable future.
  3. Obviously not. 9,000 stayed away because they had better things to do. Nights like tonight prove anyone talking about expanding SMS right now is f*cking mental.
  4. Just shy of 23k tonight for our 20th successive home win and against a promotion rival. Remind me again why we need 44,000 seats?
  5. It's you lot that are missing the point. We sold out the Dell week after week for years. We had a 2 year waiting list for season tickets. When was the last time we sold out for an entire season at SMS? WHen was the last time we had a two year waiting list for season tickets at SMS? When was the last time we could have sold out SMS twice over like we could for games at THe Dell on occasions? That is the point, despite what West Bender (PMSL) says about what QPR might be doing or that there is a chance that we might fill it, dont rule it out, anything is possible. There is absolutely ZERO evidence that it is financially viable and that SFC, not QPR, Wolves, Boca Juniors, SFC need and can fill a 44k stadium. At the moment.
  6. CAn you let me know who the Beckham,Scholes and Giggs are of our academy please. Also the Neville brothers who will go onto become good solid top half team pros and England internationals.
  7. I'll probably spend the whole time cowering in the corner. Cant handle Saints away. So be nice. C*nt.
  8. If you're happy to steal from the club on your consience be it....
  9. And in the Northam where everyone is stood it wouldn't matter anyway, just get everyone to budge up a bit, easily fit another 5 or 6 people a row in. We managed it at the Dell for the Arsenal last game
  10. I'm pretty sure they only record tickets for home games on your record if you ask them to do it. I'm sure i was told by someone who used to work at the club that the card swipe system wasn't cost effective to install. Although we'll probably need it when we are turning 15,000 away every week in the premier league.
  11. Bye then xxxx
  12. It really isn't. What is to stop people pretending to have lost their ticket and buying another one for £10 and giving it to their friend? Cortese is showing his trust for us by doing this.
  13. What's the problem with this? If you lose your train ticket you have to pay for another one. You should be glad that it's only a £10 and not the full price which is what some companies would. THis is fantastic news and another of example of Corteses great chairmanship, he really does care about us doesn't.
  14. It is hilarious. There is not end to the fun you can have by changing posters names. Only people with the wit and intellect to be the new Deppo are capable of such side splitting hilarity.
  15. It's great. Prehaps it should be extended to encompass strange old men unable to deal with reality so sit around day dreaming all day about what might become/could have been. Do you have time for that Les Bender? Or are you too busy telling your kids they are going to be the next superstar and really should apply for X-Factor?
  16. I'm sure he'll lean equally on your arguement East Ender (PMSL) that we can fill it, because. Well. We just can. Possibly. Dont rule it out. We might be able to. Why? Ummm, We could. Only an idiot would rule it out. It's entirely possible. We might. QPR might need a bigger ground. Look at Chelsea, oh and River Plate sold out this week. Dagenham get 3,000 now and they only got 1000 when in in the conference. Oh and err, didn't they say man would never climb everest? Brilliant logic Wes Bender (PMSL)
  17. Exactly right Sue. IIRC the break even point was 21k. If we were to expanid they'd look at the financial viability of it. The chances of filling it every week without giving free tickets away. They'd look at evidence. Like how many people were being turned away every week. Waiting lists for season ticket holders. How many games were selling out in the previous seasons. Not what QPR and Wolves are doing. Or gambling and expanding anyway, reasoning that we could fill it because they said that man would never walk on the moon.
  18. Apart from on here of course, where according to you we are all racists, homophobic, sexist, all of the above.
  19. I am embarassed that our fans have the nerve to acuse fans of West Ham for being arrogant then in the next breath bang on about us needing a bigger stadium because QPR do. Because when we are in the premier league we might sell out. Because Wolves are expanding. We are aren't even selling out SMS week in week out now. Why the f*ck are we on about a bigger stadium? Why the f*ck are we on about "when we are in the premier league" Isn't this arrogant? It is when West Ham do it. Seriously, tonight will be a bit of test. Going for 20 wins in a row, Hull are potential promotion rivals. How many will be there? I'd be surprised if it's much more than half the 44k capacity we apparantly need. When we sell out SMS every week. When we having a waiting list for season ticket holders. When it is finacially viable to expand and fill 44k without giving tickets away to kids for nothing. Then and only then can people have any basis to say, "you know what, we might need to expand". Not "look at QPR. Look at Wolves. Look at what Chelsea did in 1982. Look at Man City. Man United did it, why cant we?" And not forgetting last time we were in top flight where we were literally turning tens of people awy for the big games, suddenly this is going to become 12,000 is it?
  20. Jam summed it up. THe delusion in our fanbase is unreal, summed up by Dave in Swedens post. Man United did it FFS!!!
  21. F'ckin hell fella, Manchester United!!! The biggest club in the world who had an academey which included 3 of the worlds best players at the time and many other full of internationals. That's it then, i'm convinced, if Man United can do it why cant we?!!
  22. Because unless i am much mistaken an English club of Saints size has NEVER qualified for the champions league with a team full of acdemy graduates. There are a whole host of clubs of similar size to Saints who have consitantly failed to keep their star kids from the clutches of big clubs. Because there is no evidence to suggest Saints have ever needed a ground bigger than 32,000. Because at the moment we are in the Championship and just come out of league one. Because whatever Wolves, Fulham, Chelsea, QPR, Barcelona, Paris St Germain, Sport Lisbon, Visla Krakov, Boca Juniors and River Plate do is not evidence Saints need or can fill a 44k stadium. Because people are talking about being back in the premier league like it's a give. Guess what? It aint. Because until we are back in the premier league and selling out week in week out and turning away thousands of fans week in week out having weekly discussions about filling a 44k stadium is utterly pointless. We aren't even filling a 32k stadium week in week at the moment FFS.
  23. Dorkish? THat's got me, i dont know how i'll ever recover from such an attack. Of course i am sure Westender can point to a whole host of middle sized clubs, similar in size to Saints that can give us optimism that its possible for a club of Saints size to keep hold of their star young players and build a champions league side around them. I mean there are loads of them aren't there? just ask Sunderland, Middlesborough, Aston VIlla, West Ham, etc how easy it was.
  24. On believe me fella, there are some that do. And it's entirely possible isn't it, they said man would never climb Everest once.
  25. Prehaps i could learn a bit more from you? Tell me, at an age where you are mature enough to have a family life how you can naively believe we can become one of the biggest clubs in the world and why a man of your age doesn't have better things to do than sit around day dreaming of academy graduates playing champions league football in a 50,000 seater stadium. I'd have though the experience that Saints have never done it and only a handful of clubs all of which much bigger than us have would rein in your dilusion.
