What do you think les Reid is on the payroll for?

I am a bit disillusioned with the whole thing and how the club has been run. What happens on the pitch is only a small part of what makes a successful football club. THe car parking charges are an absolute scandal as is the ticket tax. I am also deeply concearned by the lack of revenue coming in from corporate sales, those areas are almost empty which means the relationship with local businsses is at an all time low. This coupled with the long queues for food and drink at half time, the poor quality of the PA system and the quite frankly rubbish pre match and half time entertainment are ruining my matchday experience.

They have been doing this for years. At the Dell a few times when i didn't get a ticket for sold out games i would pretend to be a mate who had forgotten his season ticket, buy a ticket for a tenner from the TO and then squeeze in the seats between them with them all shiffting along a bit.

Lets hope he's got £300m buring a hole in his pocket then.

Me too, last time we went there we took the p*ss in two towns that day. Be good to relive those golden times.

You're right, we should sing his name, cheer him if he scores and applaud him off the pitch if he gets subsituted. Completely forgetting the fact that he took the p*ss out you and our club by coming out in the press saying he wanted to leave, saying that he was too good for us and not forgetting arrogantly describing himself as a young star. I dont want his career to ended by a bad tackle or injury, but i dont see why he should be treated as a returning hero when he mugged us off the way he left.

Italian ultras in general look fantastic. Watching the curva at Juve, the San Siro, Roma etc is impressive.

Not really a comparison to make. Phillips has consistently proven himself to be a top striker at this level over the past 3 or 4 seasons and is still scoring regularly now. Connolly although a good player and glad he is fit at the moment hasn't really played regularly for 3 seasons. In their prime Phillips played for England, scored 30 plus goals in one season playing for midtable team and scored goals regularly, he was/is a class act. At one point he was linked with moves to Arsenal. Connollys record and ability doesn't really come close.

That's a shame, i was gonna say you're a legend on here but i think i'll hold off until you've hit 40,000 posts and come up with loads more mock ups for home and away kits over the next three seasons.

the game today is very good, open with both teams going for it. It may not be Barcelona style but its exciting, commited and a brillaint atmosphere.

This is one game i would love to go to. The atmosphere always looks amazing. Along with Barcelona v Real Madrid and Roma v Lazio three games i want to see.

I like him, he is a proper character and not afraid to speak him mind rather than the sanitised, boring stuff most come out with. He is actually quite right with a lot of what he says and quite funny with it. I am sure i am in the minority on here though.

Not at all, i dont care. In fact i find it quite amusing and a little bit sad that some of you take yourselves and the internet so seriously. If i cared do you not think i would have changed my internet persona to fit in around here by now??

Why would i do that? I've been called all sorts of names on here in the past and even today because i dont play the happy, clappy gimpy fan that you need to be to fit in around here. So why would i share interesting information on a forum which doesn't like me??
