I think our new kit will be like this and if it isn't is should be.

Barack Obama is Irish? Oh ****ing hell, what next!

Dune has a point, the liberal elitists both on here and generally do have a major superiority complex. You've only got to look at the way you all gang up to tag team him on here with all sorts of accusations ranging from ROFL and quite brilliant play on user name wit of the "June" jibes from BTF to the accusations of being a Nazi because he happens to agree with some of the EDL policies. No middle ground and acceptance that they can see his point from them, oh no. Ironic really when freedom of speech and acceptance of others is what they purport to believe in and what their superiority complex is based on. -
if they are anything like the last player we got from Scunny we are all in for a treat.
-
You're only saying that because he's black.

especially the bit where she called you June, that was genius. -
My post was in reply to someone saying black players get less adulation than white players. Pele is recognised as one of the best players of all time when racism was rife, i didn't say he wasn't a victim of it, but it certainly didn't alter the way he is regarded as a footballer.
-
Most defiintely the one who got away then. If only we hadn't got on his back for giving away that needless penalty against Derby in the Play off semi. I blame the racists.
-
That's right, because Pele missed out being universally regarded as one of, if not the best player to have ever graced the planet because he was black didn't he.
-
Or Uwe Rosler being here.

I think a part of this had to do with the fact that at the start of the season some of our fans were annoyed we hadn't kept Antonio and or Waigo (oh look black players) and felt that, certainly Antonios case, he was a better play. I recall myself being involved in a number of discussion on here early in the season about which player was better.
-
I am sure there are some fans who are racist, in 20,000 odd thousand people it's sadly inevitable. However if Puncheon was booed for this reason then so should Jaidi, Chamberlain, Walcott, Waigo, Antonio, Mellis and going way back Ken Monkou, Danny Wallace, Rodney Wallace etc. I am not quite sure what you are claiming or trying to justify but saying some of our fans are racist because they didn't like one black player who had an attitude and has shown himself to be a bit of ***** in his time here when there are dozens of examples of black players who have been popular because they haven't got an attitude is, shall we say a little bit wierd and imaging a problem when there isn't one.

I remember when we first moved to St Marys having a dream we had Michael Ballack playing in central midfield for us, he was still playing in Germany at the time and we were 3-0 up against Aston Villa at half time with him pulling the strings and playing brilliantly. Thats about all i can remember to be honest.
-
Didn't he throw a hissy fit when told he was on the bench and refuse to travel with the team for an away game? Shortly after he went to either Blackpool or Millwall cant remember which one it was.
-
Like he says, he has no evidence of what he is alledging, it's a very odd thing to come out with. To me it was quite obvious that fans percieved him to be lazy and didn't put a shift in and appeared to not want to be here, nothing to do with the colour of his skin. In the same way that fans loved Waigo and Antonio, because they worked hard, tried hard and appeared to enjoy being here. I dont think he really believes this, just trying to wind people up.
-
What about the fact that people considered Waigo and Antionio some sort of footballing god when they clearly aren't, they were desperate to sign them, when it was clear we never were going to. Even into the season people banged on about how much we missed them and as it turned out we didn't. Strange that for fans base which has racist elements in it.
-
I dont recall Puncheon or Guly being booed either, given stick but not booed. The only player who has been this season was N'Gessen and that was because he was awful.
-
Either you are on a wind up or are f*cking mental.

In the last year or so our illustrious leader on here Steve Grant has been labelled Saints Trust vice chairman by the Echo, also a character called Jason McFeat has been called this. To be fair to Nick, i dont think he uses this title himself, it's more that the echo chose to label people with it. Regardless of if you agree with him or not, sometimes i do, sometimes i dont, at least he has an opinion and questions the club rather than blindly repeating the "in Nicola we trust" mantra.
-
This. DPS has some sort of bizarre agenda to drive as he has mention this several times this season, very odd i must say.
-
Hammond, Chaplow, Davis, Harding and Lambert have come in for some stick this season, what's the reason for this?
-
JUst out of interest, how many of you still think Antonio is better than Puncheon?
-
That's because it's the greatest league in the world.
