I absolutely agree Jamie. A fantastic move from Super Nicky, Brilliant and considerate chairmanship. Rather than wasting our money on spamming our inbox with reminders he clearly knows what he is doing. People on here desperate to pay for renewals 3-4 months before they need them and 90 minute waiting times on the first day of new sales. Another great move by Cortese. No need for marketing and reminders at all were there.

We are building a team for the premier league and then the champions league, signing players on loan is not the answer. We should be looking at tapping these players up to buy into the vision now. The only young striker l can see who would add anything to us is Macheda from Manchester United.

I heard a rumour from a friend who is in Switzerland that we had bid £80m for David Villa accepted and that he had turned us down as Nige wouldn't gurantee him a first team spot. My source wide of the mark though and it was actually an £80m bid for Aston Villa as we are looking to use them as a feeder club. The bid was accepted but the deal broke down as Villa felt that they weren't worthy of being a feeder club to a club of our stature.

For kids of that age it's fine, i rememer being the first one in my school to have the 85 kit, felt like a hero. But men in their 20's upwards, FFS, get a grip.
