A mate of mine aged 32 has already had botox and teeth whitening and waxes all his body hair. He is bald and now on about getting hair implants which apparantly you can now get for £3k. I took the p*ss massively when i heard about the botox and teeth thing but got to say the results do look quite good! He isn't a great looking bloke but is fit with a decent physique and well dressed and does well with the women, what do you lot think, is he going too far or just taking care of himself and making the best of what he has got and is available or is he a closet homo?

these types are the ones that also get excited about the work xmas party and bang on and on about it for weeks, the twice a yearers that do f*ck all else apart from watch x-factor, come dancing and Big Brother. this is absolute b*llocks and a typical statement made by people who know nothing about football. Any team that play with two strikers always have one that is more prolific than the other. Think of the striker partnerships over the last 20 years in teams that have actually won stuff, Cole & Yorke, Shearer and Sutton, Drogba & Anelka, Bergkamp and Henry etc, one always scores way more than the other. Is Berkamp a sh*t striker because he only averaged 9 goals a season in 10 years at Arsenal? Some of the sh*t on here is unreal. It's about partnerships, playing together and one being a foil for the other. If Gully has 2 assists a game for the rest of the season but doesn't score himself i for one would be delighted with his contribution.

The difference is that now compared to when Walcott and Bale left is firstly we can hold out for a deal that suits us and secondly we can reinvest the money in the squad rather than using it to keep the wolf from the door. If Chamberlain goes for say £5m and this gets put back into the side, we have the ability to then sign 3-4 top chamionship level players without the Liebherrs having to dip into their pockets. Our top players will always go onto the bigger clubs sooner or later, sooner the longer we are in this league and the CCC, being in the premier league might make them stay a little longer, if we were a midtable PL club would Bale have gone to Spurs who were similar at the time? Probably not. We could have had him for a few more years, he could have out in those performances for us then gone for a much bigger fee. £15-£20m gets you 3-4 decent PL players these days.
