Thanks. ALthough that's nothing to do with it, people are slagging the lad off making all sorts of ridculous claims that a player found a home debut in L1 against Carlise was too big an occasion for him and that he is a crap player based on ONE performance, i was just pointing out the fact that at Exeter he was our best player, which was probably the reason he was selected.

IS it time to change to colours of the England kit?

Can we also include pendantic bellends in our multicutural XI? -
my heart says 2nd, my head says play offs. We'll get to the final, we will beat most teams in this league over 2 games, it's then down to the day of the final, i hope our JPT final will hold us in good stead for that. I've had a feeling for a long time we will meet Bournemouth in the play off final, a mass media frenzy dubbing it David v Goliath as small club take on their illistrious much bigger neighbours, the whole country and media want a Bournemouth win, but we put them in their place and run out easy 3-0 winners, hopefully......

Probably because i saw him play away at Exeter last week and he was our best player, i take it you didn't?
-
Dont you think you are over reacting a little? BTW. how on earth are Charlton technically above us?
-
Hamond was MOM yesterday in that role. Chaplow has been our best midfielder over since he has been here. Strange post from WC.

Good idea, each team should have one disabled player in each team and also one that suffers from depression or some other form of modern mental illness like OCD or ADHD so they are included. Lets just hope the depressed one doesn't miss an open goal or misplace a pass and gets a bit of grief from the crowd, it might send them over the edge. HAve to keep an eye on the ADHD, they'll lose interest in the game after five mintes and start trying to set fire to the referee. -

League Table since Adkins - indications for 2nd half of season?

next weekend is massive forfor us. If Bournemouth at home to Huddersfield. If we take care of business at Rochdale then we close 3 points on one of them or ideally two on both. It's vital we win next week. -
But these are the cover players everyone was claiming we needed. I go back to my argument during January, what sort of player were you expecting to come to a league one club as a squad player? BTW, lets not forget it was N'Guessens home debut and Forte played 10 minutes at P'boro and 10 minutes today, hardly time to right them off.

/\ good idea, maybe this is the reason why we have been so sh*t in tournements when it is hot. Wet shirts will help the players aclimatise to the hot summer conditions much better. -
I am not a precious fan who is easily upset by songs, more embarassed by the crap chanting. I know what you are trying to say about him manning up and i dont agree with players moaning about being upset by the fans etc but really, to get on the lads back on his first team debut is f*cking ridiculous. It might be justified if he'd been crap over the course of 20 games and didn't deserve his place but having seen him be one of, if not our best player at Exeter then to get on his back so early is ridculous.

HOw about having the male and female symbols on each sleeve as well to include the homosexuals? -
I'd have thought it would have been a bit busy for you. You'd be better off in the sparse corners of the chapel where it is quieter away from the crowds and more me time.
-
We said exactly this in the pub after the game. Bournemouth have lost their two best players and thier manager and are second and keeping winning, in the transfer window fans were moaning about the depth in the squad, signings etc but it just goes to prove if you are solid, fit and organised as a team and a squad you can go places in this league.

Good idea. We dont want the gingers being left out, we know they have a lot to put up with as it is. -
Spot on mate, there were people around me shouting to get it forward. I really didn't get what the problem was, playing keep ball at 1-0 is the ideal way to close a game out rather than humping it forward and giving it away FFS!!

The white shirts were chosen a century ago when England was a predominately white country. These days as multiculturalism is the buzz word of the 20th century, should we consider changing the colours of the England sports teams kit to reflect this? Personally i think it's a good idea, to welcome the newcomers to England and embrace our multicultural society. We all know how sport bonds cultures and generations. I'd suggest England play in White and Brown stripes with black shorts to reflect the different cultures in our society. What do you all think?

He was good against Peterborough and Exeter as well. He is at his best sittting in front of the back four breaking up play and then giving the ball to players who can play, when he does this he looks a much better player than trying to be a box to box midfielder.
-
He came on at half time, looked a little rusty but still a class above most of the players on the pitch today.
-
A lot of players similar to him are, unfortuantely some of the dins in our fan base dont seem to realise this and if they aren't brilliant straight away get on their back. Honestly, it was sameful. I am not one of those blinkered happy clappy types that shout from the roof tops to back the team and player no matter what but to cheer at a player being subbed on his home debut is f*cking shameful.
-
Unreal, it never ceases to amaze me. I had a bloke near me in the Itchen after 20 minutes claiming we'll be playig Torquay next season at that this rate and we are sliding down the table, i thought it might have been Alpine, but he was too slim.
-
Thats where i sit and could hear the "fans" cheering and people getting on his back. FFS the guy was making his home debut!!
-
Hammond was superb today doing just that, our best player IMO. He was excellent second half playing just in front of the back four and won a lot in midfield. Fans get on his back but i think he is as good a player as there is in this league at playing that role and he did it to great effect today.
