I suggest you all look at what happened in the last Ashes series down-under before you accuse me of being negative. This is an Australian team down on its luck, on a pretty big losing streak, with problems in its camp and universally dismissed as the weakest Ashes team in decades. And we've handed the entire initiative and momentum to them in one day. No chance will we get it back. /\ yeah, it terms of results and performances that was the worst one. One of the most shameful team performances i have ever seen, the players looked like frightened rabbits in the tunnel. There was no fight in them, when i saw the camera shot of them in the tunnel before kick off i knew we would lose and go down that season, they weren't pumped up thinking "right we'll show you c*nts" they looked terrified. In the 1-4 at home we didn't expect to win but we have a score to settle the next time we meet them.

At the same time, Hull and specifically Reading could argue that with a decent goalscorer like him they have a decent chance of getting into the play offs and the PL. Neither will go down, so he has the option of a shot at promtion to the premier league now or if joins us at best be in the same position in a years time as he would be if he joined a NPC club today.

i just REALLY REALLY want us to win at Fratton Park to even things up. No matter what we say they always have that over us until we win down there. In fact i wouldn't mind beating 70% of Saint fans at SMS cant remember our last win down there in 84. I was 7 at the time and remember it vaguely, but the 0-2 and 1-4 home defeats still p8ss me off.

Well i am not contradicting myself am i. YOu were going on about 40 drunks in the northam, well i am saying in two seperate parts of the ground and away on monday "fans" have barracked the usual players for very little, in fact on one occasions the supposedly slow, awful and over the hill Jaidi made the right decision rather than hoofing the ball out of play. so we have these ignorant dinlows all over the stadium. Or maybe i am just unluckily and have sat near the 1% at every game i have been at in the last 2weeks? It must just be me that sees the irony in the fact that so many of our "sh*t" former players are still playing at a higher level while we are in league one. Seem my comment above re Gully.

yet another one missing the point. As i said, for all his critics and there have been many, he has scored important goals or made an important contribution in the last 3 games, he might not have been great for 90 minutes but when it mattered he made the difference. As for your laughable speculation that Barnard would have buried 2 of Gullys chances, what about the one on one Barnard missed against Exeter, in that case Would Gully have buried that one since he scored a more difficult chance against Dagenham?
