  1. Interesting, Chat GPT seems to concur Yes, based on recent posts, sadoldgit does mention Tommy Robinson (Stephen Yaxley-Lennon) more frequently than other posters on the SaintsWeb forum. He often references Robinson in a critical context, sometimes humorously, and in discussions about political figures and events. Notable Mentions The Unicorns and Rainbows Thread: In this thread, sadoldgit humorously responds to a post by CB Fry, saying, “He might have to do so in a new language. It sounds like he might be planning to spend some time abroad. Still, more good news eh?” This was in reference to Tommy Robinson’s legal issues and potential imprisonment. The small things in life that bring you joy: Sadoldgit expresses amusement at Robinson’s arrest for illegal immigration, stating, “His arrest for illegal immigration brings me great joy.” The Reform Thread: He discusses a conversation with an acquaintance who supports Trump and plans to vote for Farage’s Reform UK party, indicating a connection between such political figures and support for Robinson. While other users occasionally mention Robinson, sadoldgit’s posts indicate a more frequent and detailed engagement with discussions involving him.
  2. Hang on a minute when you were championing Bazunu as being the next great Southampton goalkeeper you referenced his performances in League one for Portsmouth and then also, crucially, referenced his performances for Ireland including clean sheets as evidence of his premier league credentials. What you failed to acknowledge was that many of these clean sheets had come against significantly lower level teams than premier league level, they included Luxembourg x 2, Azerbijan and Lithuania. You cant have it both ways.

Yep, the appointment of Pochetino was met with widespread anger. Adkins had started to turn the team round and we'd just drawn away at Chelsea when he was fired. Fans were furious, MP had just been sacked by Espanyol with them bottom of the league. I expect there would be a similar reaction if this happened today.

  10. I would say one of the major issues this county faces is is the lack of personal responsibility for everything which seems to have taken over. It starts with schools and deluded parents who question the teachers when their kid gets in trouble at school. Whereas when i was a kid if i get in trouble at school i'd then also be in trouble when i got home now we constantly see parents going down to school to rant at the teachers. It's no surprises this is translating into soft, entitled adults who blame everyone else or conditions they have for their failings. We have a generation of people with no resilience who go to pieces when faced with even the most minor bit of adversity. Then you see the blaming of the government for not doing enough. The most recent example of this you can see is the Joe Wicks program about the protein bar he made that is full if shit that does more harm than good. The message is the government need to do more, blah, blah, blah. Yes i do agree the food industry needs more regulation, but given that and the pharma industry seem to be working hand in hand, that unlikely to happen. However people are responsible for what they stick in their gobs, no one else, but they seem to want to shift the blame of their own greed because they hadn't been given specific instructions to the letter as to what they should be doing. I would suggest that unless you are fucking stupid most people know what's healthy and what isn't but rather than take responsibility for themselves they shift the blame that there aren't warnings on food packages, it's insane.
  11. He isnt thats why. He's like thousands of blokes from that area, god knows i've met enough. Talk in that accent, use a bit of rhyming slang, walk like they're carrying carpets and think everyone is scared of them because they support West Ham, Millwall or because they're from a "proper manor". Blokes from Portsmouth are a diet version of the above.

Bit like how any manager could do what Fergie did at Man United, even Alan Pardew would win the league there. Was the famous quote.

"most of the world are acknowledging this is a triumph for Donald Trump" "President Trump and his team deserve huge amounts of credit" Were quotes just said on TV but the presenter and a former hostage negotiator Apart from on here it seems.
  15. He was terrible he had a pretty decent scoring record in Norway I guess we thought we’d got the new Tore Andre Flo, saints going cheap the find the next superstar some things never change
  16. We didn’t sign Niemi until 2002/03 season IIRC meaning we have 5 years of Paul Jones as first choice glovesman due to the Dave Jones poor choice of goal minder
  17. Paul Jones was a strange signing as he was no where hear as good as Taylor. Even stranger was the signing of Lee Todd who remains one of the worst players I’ve ever seen in a saints shirt, which is some achievement given the company he’s in. that same window we signed the much forgotten Stig Johansen, a Norwegian striker who I remember starting at Old Trafford midweek and was also absolutely shit but gave him a pass given the opposition. He didn’t get much better. I seem to recall he barely played for us again after that night
  18. Still in his 6 month guarantee isn’t he? Mis sold or not fit for purpose is the get out clause
  19. He’s a bit of a joke but I think he plays up to it and doesn’t take himself seriously. Plenty of people will look down their nose at that sort of bloke but he’s had a pretty good career for basically playing himself on films for 25 years. The Business is a great film mind
  20. Food for thought if we were faced with a zombie apocalypse would there be zombie rights activists? I’m going to say yes
  21. I watched Marching Powder on Friday, the new Danny Dyer blockbuster. It’s certainly in one of the worst films I’ve ever seen but at the same time quite funny and one you want to watch to the end. Would I recommend it or watch it again? absolutely not but if you’ve got a spare 90 minutes it’s weirdly endearing
  22. I bought something that was made in Bangladesh it wasn’t a curry
  23. What’s everyone doing with their white privilege this weekend then?
  24. You?
  25. His dopey bird hasn’t put their weekly out with friends group selfie on Facebook yet so I’m still not convinced he’s alive
