    The Fab FAB

Yes you're right, it was GB (whoever that is) that suggested it. Good news, means it's not skewed by popularity so people cant just get their mates to vote for them. It'll be on merit and someone that can add something. The fact that the FAB will vet applicants is a very good idea. *GB suggested FAB to vet anyone who joins, does not believe a public vote is necessary

i would advise you to keep checking the website for vacancies, then it'll be down to the public vote. You cant get any more democratic. We're not taking applications at the moment. We work on a rotational basis and any vacancies will be advertised on our website. Interested parties will be invited to apply and Fan Advisory Board members will review applicatations. A shortlist will be voted for by our current Season Ticket Holders and those holding Official Membership with the club.

    The Fab FAB

i thought they deserved their own thread given the chatter on here recently. It'll also help so that when our fabulous Fan Advisory Board look on this forum, which i'm sure they do as they're so well engaged as the voice of the fans, they can have safe, clear space to join in the discussion and read the feedback from the largest and most popular Saints forum. I notice that there are no spaces on the FAB at the moment so none of us can join to help out but we do have direct access to the FAB on the contact us page. https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/fan-advisory-board We can also use this thread to thank them for all their efforts and recognise their achievements. I would like to personally thank them for raising the self/pre pouring drinks issues, the issues with the app push notifications the fact that the WIFI doesn't remember you, this can only help take the match day experience from very good to exceptional.
  5. Maybe but the fact they're speaking out now openly being critical is evidence of how bad things must be
  6. The great thing about our approach is that we are slowly building under the radar, not chasing big names, not spending big money. It's building an empire behind a wall. Soon the Empire will be more powerful than anyone would ever imagine, all driven by a data backed approach. All those that didn't believe will be silenced, all the naysayers who criticised will be served large helpings of humble pie. We are coming to the end of the break it phase, now we are in the rebuild phase, the rebuild will soon be complete. Building a dynasty requires patience, it takes years measured in decades. The break it phase is a small dot on a long term timeframe. SR will carry us kicking and screaming to heights we could never believe in the end we will thank them.
  7. Its a classic protection mechanism. Probably to cover shame or guilt from the past. The desperation now to appear not racist include the excessive deflection on here is a classic sign of guilt and shame from previous behaviour. Interestingly it's also a key trait of narcissism, something he regularly accuses other people of.
  8. The decisions will be data driven made based on evidence not what you see with your eyes which device you
  9. Coming to something when two of the most compliant journalists speak out against these clowns
  10. Bro that team will be sick, some absolute ballers in the team
  11. the data on these guys is phenomenal though chaps, proper players. You dont even need to see them to know that they will cook next season.
  12. Damien Downs back in the summer full of confidence from an epic loan spell. He'll be like a new signing.
  13. Bros with Jeeza Corbyn. Must be a good guy.
  14. we will probably end up selling him then our replacement wont happen, we'll rely on Stewart and Archer for the rest of the season. It'll be spun as a great deal for the club, a master class in player trading etc
  15. No surprises a right wing Farage supporter like yourself does that
  16. Lascelles would be great. Striker i dont know really, ideally what we want is a 6 foot 4, tall, mobile striker but doesn't everyone, lol.
  17. He’s a weird one and yet another player that looked like they had potential but had turned into an absolute cart horse since joining us. You have to wonder why it happens so often. Don’t even expect world beaters just half decent. Are we buying duffers or creating them?
  18. We’ve still got 3 loan slots don’t we? That’s what I’d be doing a centre back and striker from the Premier league. There must be a few fringe players looking for game time
  19. Outgoings rather than incomings then. 3 Right backs now so expect one of them will go if we can, Edozie and Aribo would be the other obvious ones.
  20. Son was off school “sick” yesterday so a rare treat of fish and chips at lunch time, my god it was epic.
  21. If you're into health then there is nothing new on there, but interesting nonetheless. The bloke last night was bonkers, he was type 1 diabetic, already had a toe amputated but basically lived off crisps, cakes, coke and other shit, said he only drinks Coke and has never drank water as it doesn't do anything for him. What was interesting was the difference just a few weeks can make of eating healthy.
  22. It isn't even really about spending big. There are loads of players out there that cost less than 10m, well within our supposed price range, that could have come in and done a good job for a few years. The issue has been that it's always about resale value rather than buying a player for now. The Baz situation is ridiculous, expecting a young goalkeeper to come into the premier league and thrive when they've never played above league One level. The centre back situation is ridiculous, look at how much has been spent and players we've gone though trying to find the new Van Dijk. For all their talk about being a player trading company you can only really point to two players in the 4 years they've been here that have been a success.
  23. Been this way for years though hasn't it. When we were in the premier league despite having years more Premier league money than the like Brighton, Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Fulham they were all spending bigger than us on players whilst we persisted with trying to beat the system, bloating the squad out with 15m players or YHGTIers. We've been in decline for 10 years as we've persisted with this model SR have just taken it up a few levels. Stock piling crap players that no one else wants and in some cases have to pay to leave. When will the data tell them that it's failed?
  24. Funny how Tonda was quick to point to XG when we lost at home to Hull the other day because it was better than theirs but hasn’t mentioned it the last two games when it was worse and we’ve got 4 points 😂
  25. I was always against it as very much a get outside in the fresh air sort of person. It’s easy in the spring and summer, maybe it’s age but when it’s dark by 4.30 and weather is shit I don’t really want to do it anymore so seems like a good idea.
