As I said I met him once. I’ve met loads of famous people over the years but there was a warmth to him that is rare. I met him in corporate at a champions league game a few years back when my then boss was VP at Chelsea. Jesus you’ll be telling us you only brush your teeth once a week now as it’s a waste of water and don’t speak to people face to face much. It really isn’t excessive, need to be clean and fresh. I work from home too and I’ll have a shower every morning as does the missus, plus i don’t sit around the house in tracksuit bottoms looking like a slob, one must maintain some standards. If I go to the gym during the day or evening I’ll have a shower after that too. Plus a bath a couple of times a week but that more to relax and listen to a podcast or some tunes. Maybe that’s why I still look the bollocks despite being nearer 50 than 40 these days. I’ve heard stories before about blokes who think their missus doesn’t mind them being unclean and scruffy, these complacent slobs are then surprised when she leaves them telling all her friend he had just given up and wasn’t taking care of himself anymore and she couldn’t stand being near him.

that's the sad thing about it. My wife worked at the club last time we went down, lots of good people lost their jobs. She had no interest in football until she got a job at Saints but she was more upset than me and any of my family were, all life long saints fans were when we went down. It was more than a job to a lot of them, they loved working there and were in bits when they were made redundant. It's sad that a £25k-£35k back office worker has to carry the can for mistakes made by millionaire owners, executives, managers and players. Getting rid of just one of the useless pricks that got us into this mess would save the jobs of the dozens who dont deserve it.
