  4. Idris Elba talking a huge amount of sense https://www.express.co.uk/celebrity-news/1733317/Idris-Elba-black-actor-racism-luther-film-movies?fbclid=IwAR2_INXyBHwjPaDVUSirtYM4C5eMOp9KTjbZ9_68tVjLZmyZE_Hxl8FelzU#ldzo3b080ga9imzhm28j
  5. Maybe he is the boy that can swim faster than a shark
  6. I thought it was quite funny. He does love to go on about being from a Welsh mining village though, it like how can you tell when someone is from Yorkshire? they’ve already told you.
  7. Not only is he one of the best managers in Europe he’s also the fittest man who ever lived. What a guy!
  8. Why do you doubt there is? They don’t exactly play like a tight bunch of lads do they
  9. What do you expect when Brett from Camden is head chef.
  10. it came out shortly after Jones was appointed that we had also spoken to this fella and he'd turned us down, remember it at the time
  11. Let say there was a bust up, if it was 10 players as is the rumour then that means either all 10 were going for Jones or there is a big division in the camp im not sure which is worse 🤔
  12. If I remember rightly that as what @Patrick Bateman called Minty. In the glory days of the forum when all the good posters who don’t bother anymore and you can see why were here
  13. And it still is. Sadly a few snowflakes took umbridge to it even though I showed them they were wrong and the definition of mong is a stupid person, those happy to offended types that litter these sort of places desperately showing how virtuous they are
  14. Really? You're rewriting history there. When Ralph tried to play high press, high energy football he got blamed for having no plan B, the players being knackered after 45 minutes and being too open. When he tried something different it was boring sideways football too slow. When Puel was losing it was because he was boring and too negative Pochetino had no plan b and couldn't win a game if we concede first Pellegrino, Hughes, Jones when we won it's inspite of them when we lost it's because of them The only one in recent history are Koeman, although a lot of fans started getting on his back when we had a bad run christmas 2016 time, boring shite, Pelle is useless etc etc

Its a shame they dont award additional points for doing great work on the training ground, we'd be laughing.

It is interesting because i wondering if this was a game where he did things his way or he was compromised?
  17. Millwall. Always good to chase them round Bermondsey. Bushwakers are Masters of hide and seek when the DEF come to town.
  18. Pretty much spot on. If we'd won six and lost one then everyone would be laughing about it, what a character etc. Because we're doing shit he's a welsh twat. I dont think he said anything particularly wrong yesterday but everyones jumping all over it again because he didn' say exactly what they want them to hear.
  19. I think he simply isn’t very articulate but also enjoys his image. He’s not the polished, media trained, slick personality that the top managers are. He seems to quite like the image of being the Welsh mining village boy done good through graft, aggression and passion. He’s obviously not stupid and does know what he’s doing, the championship is still a very very tough league to do well in, you don’t survive if you haven’t got a clue. It’s not the sort of image the premier league wants these days and It’s a bit dated and a bit cringey at times but he seems to thrive on telling everyone his background. I’ve met a few people like that in business over the years, always going on about how well they’ve done despite growing up on a rough council estate, honestly no one cares.
  20. I’ve never had much time for Semmens. He’s a marketing guy and whilst he’s very corporate and silver tongued never really seen a lot of substance in anything his says. He’s made some truly absurd comments in the past along with a general distain for the traditional fan base. He just seems like the sort of corporate, cliche ridden leader I’ve seen hundreds of times that is totally out of touch with Customer base. I find it incredible that people running a premier league football club come from a marketing background and Steele comes from an aviation background. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a large organisation run successfully by people with no industry experience, especially a unique thing like a football club where you have a very emotive and hardcore customer base to keep onside. Sadly they done a great job of damaging that. Ankersen im still undecided about. He has something about him but also seems to think he’s a genius. Nothing wrong with a bit of arrogance but he’s done little so far to match the talking. Brentford was a success but it’s one thing getting a club in the premier league quite another staying there and they seem to be doing rather well without him.
  21. Yeah probably didn’t fancy it, the melt.
  22. Me too 🤣🤣 It was a long time ago I was too pissed to remember, walked up to him whilst he was stood in a group at the end of the night and said “I don’t like you, you’re a cunt and if you’ve got anything to say about it I’ll see you outside” before I was dragged away. Monday at work the regional manager was in and I had to explain myself, they very sternly said I was an idiot but he was happy to put it down to drunken stupidity. So fair play to him, was a bit of legend at work for a while though.
  23. Cheers, yeah done pretty well if I do say so myself 👍
  24. I called my managing director a cunt and offered him out once, people make mistakes when they're young and maybe a few beers in.
