No, he asked me how i know i wouldn't have had it more if if i hadn't had a vaccine, my response to that was it's impossible to say which it is. Also asking why some people have never had it, others have had more vaccines and had it more times. I'm obviously not talking about using anecdotal cases for countries policies FFS. I thought that would be obvious, poor old Karens great auty who had 3 vaccines went to hospital and caught it there. I'm talking about if people personally know 50, 60, 100 people who have had covid, that gives quite an interesting perspective, rather than relying soley on what you read in the media.

Bit mental that wasn't it. You're not ill but you're testing yourself to prove you're not ill.
-
my questions was a series of questions forming a response to trousers asking me to speculate on something it was impossible to answer. Keep up
-
you're also responding to the wrong person, trousers asked the original question, not me.
-
so that answers Trousers devil advocate question then, why didn't you respond to him and not me? He asked the orginal question. Surely real life anecdotal cases are equally as important as large scale data which can be manipulated to suit certain agendas?
-
that's not playing devils advocate that's asking someone to speculate on something it's impossible to answer. Why have some people who haven't had a vaccine not even had it once? Why have some people who've had 4 vaccines had it twice? Why did someone who hadn't had a vaccine have it but not even know they did. Why, why, why why....
-
Does it prevent you getting it? I've had 3 vaccines and had it twice. My wife got it about a month after having the 3rd vaccine, she's also had it twice. I know loads of people of have had it since getting the vaccine. None of them have been seriously ill. A good friend of mine was seriously ill with it and nearly died before the vaccine, he also got it again after being vaccinated and was not seriously ill. No doubt it prevents against serious illness but im not convinced it prevents you getting it.

That’s was the claim wasn’t it. It appears that was made before there was proof that was true..
-
Unsurpringly you’re missing the point, not for the first time, so let me spell it out to you it appears it was claimed that the vaccine stopped transmission. We were told if you don’t have one you’ll kill your nan. Yet it appears the claim and guilty tripping was made before any testing had been done that confirmed if it did or didnt reduce transmission. clear now? as for your typical childish “don’t piss you pants” aintclever bingo comment I’m not pissing my pants about anything, merely raising a discussion point that is currently in the news. Sadly once again you don’t seem bright enough to comprehend when someone posts something that is opposed to your simplistic view of the world it doesn’t mean they’re automatically they’re upset about it.

The Adrian Durham on Radio Solent, perhaps?

IIRC correctly most we're over the moon. We'd got rid of the deadwood, Redmond, Stephens, Bednarek, Forster and replaced them with a load of young, hungry, guarenteed to improvers, which is what everyone had been demanding. Bit of disappointment we hadn't got rid of Walcott, but other than that the only one people were sad to see go was Romeu, but even him many were saying was past it and his legs had gone. None of this "worst squad in the premier league" shite then. Like you say the narrative has hugely shifted in the last few weeks.
-
Listen to it. The narrative was get a vaccine to protect others, if you don’t get one you’re selfish and you’ll kill your nan etc. turns out that there was never tested to stop transmission.

Interesting news coming from Pfizer 🤔

Adam Blackmore September 2022 adam Blackmore October 2022 “Name a premier league squad worse than Saints” full of it

Yes you are. Well, your other logins were.

Fake news. This is all a scam by the Germans to prove how safe the vaccine is. They think we are idiots.

He’d be great fit for us. Loves a bit of virtue signalling, he’d fit right in with the image our PR department want to put out of us as a club.
-
That’s a very idea. He’s perfect for that role. Need to find something for him to do.
-
Ah yeah, I saw Tom Huddlestone had signed for Man United in some sort of mentor capacity, it’s really odd.
-
So we’ve improved significantly since Lancashire got sent off?

Is is true Pompey fans were singing “1-0 in your big day out” Pompey fans who have put out a majority first team and first team manager 🤦♂️

Yep, mixture of testosterone with the kids, the ones who play actually want to be there now rather than because their parents make them or their friends play so it becomes much more competitive. We have that issue now with the U11s where probably only 3 or 4 will carry on, it’s the same every season. However we play in a district league at the moment which is all mainly village teams. At U12s when it goes to 11 a side the 8 teams in the league merge to become 2 U11 teams and go and play in the district league with lots of teams from Harrogate York and Leeds. There is one team in that league which is like what you describe, kids are cocky little shits and coaches think they are something special and a few ex Leeds players have had kids go through the team, plus they market themselves very well so get a lot of sponsorship from local business. I can’t really comment on the ref situation above U11s at the moment but a friend of mine who coaches U13s said on of his got booked recently for calling the ref a twat. 🤣

You don’t need to read between in the lines, in that clip I shared he said “where did the arrogance come from?” the arrogance that after 10 years of premier league money we’ve had to sell to buy for most of it and when we do have a bit of cash we spunk it all on a load of kids who, according to Blackmore, have made us the worst squad in the league.

Appreciate this is written from a Pompey perspective but we get a few mentions at the bottom and some pictures of the cup game in 1984. I know some you just want see what name each other had on the backs of their shirts in 2004 but some might find this a good read as it’s not the usual fackin scummers nonsense they come out with and some good style nostalgia from the terraces in the 80s https://lowerblock.com
