Rasmus likes managers who have failed so dont rule it out

and to think he was signed to be our Premier League goalkeeper. 3 years on he is still no where near even a competent championship glovesman, genuinely probably one of the worst we've ever had. Is there anything he does do well?

It's incredible how unlucky he gets isn't. Virtually every goal that we concede where you look at and think he should have got that, you watch again and see that it's just so, so unlucky. Poor old Baz.

The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?
Turkish replied to sadoldgit's topic in The Lounge
Exactly this. One of my biggest regrets is not travelling and working abroad when i had the chance. Would encourage any youngster to do it. Not Dubai because most people there are twats but elsewhere in the world. A lad that used to work for me asked my advice on it, i told him to jump at it. He got a transfer to work for the same company in Australia, he's since moved onto a different company but is settled there got a girlfriend and is very happy. -

If the Tories were still in power they could have ordered some of the weather we had in the first lock down. -
sounds like close fought contest between the womens number 1 and the 671st ranked man.

To whom? it’s all very well making statements like this but for them to go they need to sell us, they’re not going to hear a few weeks of boos after games, shrug their shoulders and walk off letting someone else have a go. We’re stuck with them they sell us or go bust.

I don’t care, SOG basically admitting to wanking off over a convicted racist and far right supporter makes this one of the threads of the year.

Hardly the crimes of the century…..

So as long as you like their films you’re not bothered what they get up to? You’ll turn a blind eye to pretty much anything if it entertains you. Oh dear….

The greatest era in our history?

It needs to be, we’re back to Will Still levels of performance and results two crap 2-1 defeats at teams in the bottom 3 and a draw against a team who played second half with 10 men is really, really poor.

Pork, cooked on the smoker all day. Glazed in honey served with a salad, spicy rice and a glass of sav with good friends

What people like you, the negative posters fail to understand is that the strategy is in phases. When SR first arrived that was the assessment phase. We are now in the break everything phase, shortly we will move into the rebuild phase then unparalleled glory is inevitable. You are those that lack understand cannot comprehend what is going on only those of us more enlightened ones see this.

I need to catch up on Stranger Things too, the Netflix series not Sports Republics strategy

I’m looking forward to the update from the Romney Marsh Boxing Day Brunch where SOG sat next to a Nigerian Christian who confirmed what the BBC is saying to be true

Wasn’t it wonderful to see King Charles winter festival speech from Westminster Abbey today. Although why chose a religious venue when the winter festival has no religious element? 🤷♂️

So was I

It doesn’t because celebrating it is not a biblical command. However it’s something Christian counties like our own have adopted. It’s wonderful to see your Muslim friends are integrating so well. as for your point about overspending on your credit card the bible warns about greed, materialism and love of money. Perhaps you should revisit those verses.

Fantastic they are integrating so well and adopting our Christian customs. 👏👏

I remember this game too. Was there. This was in the days when cup games used to get bigger crowds than in the league. Oxford filled the Archers end and it kicked off before the game round by the Spa tavern.
