Broja on for the last minute

Up and down. First game against Swindon I went to and were very good, won 3-0 and played well. Then lost 3-0 away Crewe, lost 1-0 home to Stockport in the cup and yesterday was meant to be a very dull 0-0. Made a lot of signings it’s pretty much a new team from last season, definitely needed freshening up but still need a striker. I didn’t go yesterday but Ramsey is said to have played well.

Yes we were interested in Ihenanacho when he was at City, never really quite hit the levels expected of him as so would be interesting if he were to come here. Doesn't have a particularly good goalscoring record, but then i think he's been in and out of the Leciester team.

I thought Salisu was meant to be quick? on one of the MOTD clips he looked like he was running with concrete boots on, Leeds player started about 10 yards behind him and still go to the ball ahead of him. I'm liking the fact we've got a bit more of a physical presence this season, Bella-Kotchap, Lavia, Aribo and Mara all look like units that are also mobile and can play, felt at times we've got buillied in the past, that wont happen with these boys there.

And as I said last Saturday you could basically pick the same that started the first game of last season then integrate the players that way. But we didn’t, we completely changed our system to basically accommodate one player who, in reality if Romeu had started instead of not one single fan would have said was the wrong decision.

Honestly I think it’s an excuse. From the squad from last season we’ve lost a goal keeper, a loan player and a last minute sub striker who scored one goal every 30 games. Everyone else is the same. We could basically field the same team which started last season with the same system and formation and integrate the new players that way of there really is this issue of not giving too many their debut. Would anyone have moaned if Romeu and started ahead of Lavia last week? our three debutants one was a keeper another’s last game was a European cup final, it’s an excuse IMO that the system chose has been a disaster just like last time it was tried
