The dark forces to create a cashless society, everything Done electronically so we are controlled by banks and big corporations.

    Coronavirus

Interestingly it was reported by this boards favourite newspaper along the lines of my view on it.... Fears grow student Covid infections will spread into local areas in England and Wales | Universities | The Guardian Martyn Moss, the University and College Union (UCU) north-west England regional official, said student areas in Manchester, such as Fallowfield, were reporting soaring rates of infection. He added: “We are in a nightmare situation where large numbers of asymptomatic people may be spreading the virus to higher risk groups in the local community.”

    Coronavirus

Or maybe it was down to the fact that from March-September all education was shut, from september onwards millions of kids and students were mixing together, the vast majority of them asymptomatic and they were spreading it like wildfire back to their families. Suddenly in October onwards there is a massive surge with another lockdown in November. Or it might just be an amazing coincidence.

Not making a fuss, but we've been here a number of times before haven't we.
  5. Spot on. When they were 7/8 we were in the premier league with a lot of back slapping how we were a model club with a great academy. During our downward journey it’s obvious that young players wouldn’t join a club with much publicised finance issues, selling anything that wasn’t nailed down and boardroom civil war going on.

    Coronavirus

Here we go again. Yep, same old message, more transmissible, not sure vaccines will be effective (even though they already said they were) don’t be complacent, just a few more months. Then research will show it wasn’t that much different to any other variant.
  7. Plus he’s got the truly amazing Baby Shark song we can all look forward to belting out when we can go again
  8. What did he mean by that? There hasn’t been any investment, is he implying we wilL now get some from our owner?
  9. Any news on the important topics such as toilet queues, beer and getting a BAME and woman on the board?
  10. My first memory of him was He scored a great goal for Swindon when we beat them 4-2 after extra time in the league cup in about 1990 he beat a couple of players and score to Put them a goal up, they went in at half time 2-0 Up. their goalkeeper was having a blinder. Saints scored early in the second half the shearer and Ruddock came on both playing up front. We equalised then scored two more in extra time, the first a cracking Le Tissier free kick. The dell was rocking, brilliant night game, packed with full away end, pitch invasions after goals and at the end, one of the best games and atmospheres I can remember. just found some footage
  11. Been saying that for years mate. We’ve wasted so much money trying to find the next Van Dijk when what we really needed was to replace Fonte with an experienced leader at the back. We could have got Cahill for nothing or Evans for £3m, I’m sure there have been others as well in the mould who would have been significantly better than anything we’ve had since he went who would have also helped Bednarek and Stephens. It seems that we’ve finally struck gold with Salisu but even he is still more of a potential signing. What we’ve needed for 4 years was someone to come in straight away and plug the hole. Bednarek was signed as a young player with potential but was thrown in as the others was so bad. It does seems now we finally have a bit of depth and quality in that position. It’s just a shame it’s taken 4 1/2 years to get there.
  12. This sums it up.
  13. Premier League Referee's Motives Called Into Question Yet Again As Vestergaard's Red Card Is Overtur - Southampton News | The Ugly Inside (fansnetwork.co.uk) good theory, certainly could be something in it as the errors now seem to be worse than before VAR
  14. That seems to be all it's used for these days.
  15. Yes it was. I make that our last two sendings off now both overturned, despite VAR viewing the incident. What a joke. Was Jankewitz our only other red?
  16. True, i want to know updates on LGBT issues, when we will have BAME and female representation on the board, what are the club doing to help gay players come out, are they going to continue the free tampons promotion when fans return. Lots of important topics to discuss.
  17. Pretty sure it was McLoughlin there was a bit of controversy around his testimonial a few years ago. Six months or so later he hadn't seen a penny from Pompey. Their chairman got quizzed about it and made some excuse like McLaughlin hadn't decided how he wanted the money paid to him. Rumours (unfounded) doing the round was they were skint so had spent the money planning to pay him later. No idea if it was true or not but it certainly made the chairman look very uncomfortable when asked about it.
  18. i didn't say that. I said far from being rubbish there are about 5 players in their first team better than ours.
  19. Just because you dont like the fact that another team near the bottom has a number of players better than us it doesn't make it incorrect.
  20. Well I think James Tarkowski is head and shoulders above any central defenders we’ve got and McNeil is head and shoulders above Redmond, Djenepo and Walcott. Then it’s arguable that Mee is better than our other centre backs, Charlie Taylor is certainly better than Bertrand this season. Wood, who has scored more league goals than Ings this season is head and shoulders above Adams and any of our other striking options apart from Ings. Game of opinions though I guess but you do seem to have a saints bias. Strange we’re so much better than them but only Only one point above them. Although strange to say Burnley are the new Fulham, Burnley have been a consistent premier league team for a few years, Fulham will go straight back down again, no comparison at all.
  21. That’s how I remember it. Good player but his best position was as a central attacking midfielder what they’d now call a number 10. we signed him for a lot of money back then and stuck him left midfield. Like you say Branfoot came in and he had no chance.
  22. our first million pound signing has sadly passed away from cancer at just 54 years old. Very talented player who like a lot of big money Saints signings we never saw the best of. Was very good for Swindon and Portsmouth but never reached those heights for us. Sounds like he had been battling cancer for a long time. Very sad, RIP.
  23. As season ticket holder of 39 years not missed a game honestly i haven't, I'd like to ask the panel what are the plans for beer and food when fans are allowed back into stadiums? Will we get a better choice and what are you going to do about the queues?
  24. Okay so you're saying 2 Saints players who definitely get in the Burnley team and 2 or 3 Burnley players who definitely get in the Saints team. Other than that not a lot of difference between them. Yet earlier you were banging on about how shite they were and Shaun Dyce is a magician for keeping them up.
