Romeu was already on the pitch in central midfield. Redmond, Minamina or Djenepo playing the Ward Prowse central midfield role, LMFAO.
-
And taken him out of midfield? who would he play in Midfield in his place?
-
Who would play at right back/wing back given you admit the flanks are where the problems were
-
What could he have done to switch our full backs around?
-
Leeds had their best player out tonight, only one won game without him. Yes we had a couple but it wasn’t a particularly weak team and we were able to bring on two good players, yet still got a good beating.
-
It was weird but when they showed the reply it was half a second before the whistle went, unlucky but the right call unfortunately
-
Agreed. Both decisions were right, we may not like them but it doesn’t mean they aren’t correct

Considering all three of our summer signings appear to be better than the ones they are replacing in the squad then I’m fairly optimistic we can find a decent replacement. The problem will be we are skint and Bertrand leaving won’t generate any funds, so we will probably need to sell to buy, which we are expecting anyway.

I see England just beat Northern Ireland 6-0. Great result 👊

For that price i hope we'd be in for him. Two quality goals so far, once his fitness improves he's going to be a good player for us.

It drives me mad that play will go on for sometimes 30 seconds before the linesman will put the flag up, just bloody well put it up. How they can give a corner when a player is blatantly offside is beyond me, it basically gives the other team a goal scoring opportunity when it should be a free kick to the defending team, it's ridiculous. VAR was meant to take the complexity away and make it easy but the stupid rules they've brought in have made it even more confusing.

I dont believe it is true. Hancock wont have any mates.
-
Wait outside turnstile A before a game and you just might find out.......
-
Worryingly my good mates son is attracting interest from Pompey. Very good young player who will do well there
-
Another couple of idiotic VAR rules are apparently some of the decisions that have gone against us recently with penalties have been excused by being not obvious enough errors, yet they’ll spend 5 minutes drawing lines to check milimetres difference on an offside. I also noticed yesterday a couple of times with the offside Rule Chelsea got corners when atttacks were ended but the player the ball went to was in an offside position. If a goal had been scored it’d be pulled back and a free kick given but because it wasn’t play carried on and Chelsea still gained an advantage by being awarded a corner, completely ridiculous that this can happen. They could easily score from the corner where they’ve committed an offense to win.

Pay as you play deals stopped in about 1986. Of course a premier league club will have him, he’s a proven, good experienced player who will easily be a good squad player at half the teams in the division for a couple of seasons. Two year deal with option of another year on £40-50k a week is a good deal for all parties.

Yep, all I see is big clubs still getting the decisions, it just takes longer or they don’t bother reviewing. Most recent examples Bertrand and Djenepo sent off for identical tackles made by Werner and Kante yesterday, I don’t think any of them should have been sendings off but if one is then they all are. You rarely see it the other way round when a controversial VAR decision goes against a big club, it’s always them getting ones in their favour.

Great point until you made it homophobic

We discovered this a few years back after we realised he flew me back from Marrakesh a few years ago
-
Have they never seen Cool Runnings?
-
The Les Reed years that saw back to back promotions, 2 8th placed finishes, 6th and 7th, a first major cup final in 14 years and two seasons of European football you mean?
-
If there were any we didn’t notice them. Generally a nice place. The worst place for Russians was Egypt. Loads of them all rude. What with them, the vile English and the local Egyptians it was awful, wouldn’t go near the place again.
-
Fair enough. One of my missus old friends lives there now and we’ve been invited over to stay with them, not somewhere I’ve ever particularly fancied. I would agree with Timmy on Agadir, decent place and good weather. We went in November and was mid twenties. Plus you can do Marrakech from there which is well worth a visit. We went back to Marrakech for a week a few years later with some friends.

Reykjavik is high on the list. When my mate recovers from Covid and we can travel again we’re booking as all of us have wanted to do it for a long time.

Isn’t it ridiculously expensive when you get there? I don’t think it’d be my thing but I know a few who’ve been there and heard lots of stories about £40 for a couple of glasses of wine.
