Or Maybe we wouldn't. You want to build a better club but build to what? If winning something isn't the end result of building a better club what is? It's incredible that people are just happy to exist in the premier league, because we get guarenteed premier league money, get to watch the other team, watch us more on telly. It's truly sad that people consider success as just existing.

Dozens of clubs have got new grounds without having to be in the Premier league so your point about the Dell is irrelevant. As for Le Tissier, i love him as much as anyone, I saw his entire career, used to pretend to be him in the playground but i'd swap all of those goals for seeing us lift the FA cup at Wembley.

The mutation scare mongering is insane. I'm sure people are seeing through it, it's funny how they've only been banging on about variants of concern in the last few months. It wasn't that long ago they were telling us the virus was weakening. As they said all through the first lockdown it mutates all the time and there are 1000s of variants of every virus.

We should get a little $ on the shirts to celebrate every time we've won it, it's what a lot of fans want to celebrate.

Part of the first saints team I remember, my dad loved him. Great character by all accounts and a great player from an era when football was about entertainment

We sold Mark Wright to Derby

Just think about what that £20m will do to our bank balance. I expect an open top bus parade for that.

No problem with the travel ban if they hadn’t announced only a few weeks ago that everyone can travel from may. Dangling the carrot and moving the goalposts yet again.
-
Really? We've not beaten them at home since 2003 and only beaten them twice in 20 years. I'd have thought they'd love to play us.

A problem i see it is there is no clear direction into what good looks like. On the one had they're congratulation themselves on the vaccine roll out, rightly so. Yet the next minute banning travel. We'll be at zero deaths before long the way it's dropping, we're at 0.25% positive tests a day, we've been told that we'll live like it with flu, with most of the vunerable vaccinated, low infections and hardly any deaths if that isn't living with it what is?

Yep, i wondered then and what was the point when we were meant to be free by then. They've said since the start every virus has mutations and 1000s of variants, now this scaremongering every time they find one is becoming very tiresome.

why?

Quite, teams of our size drop in and out of the premier league quite a bit. We'll go down at some point and personally i'd quite happily take that in exchange for a few trophies in the cabinet. Sport isn't about applauding the clubs bank balance and premier league prize money, unfortunately some of the mugs on here only seem interested in that.

Seems to me like they are setting us up for another extension. Chris Witty warning there will be another serge with new variants being the problem. We've been here before haven't we. Promise something then drip feed bad news to see how the public responds.

£5k fines for going on holiday running into July even though we were told by June we'd have all our freedoms back.
-
Thought you wanted us to lose anyway?

I noticed that too. Leicester are good but not great side and very beatable if we show up and get a bit of luck. However history shows most of these occasions usually end up in a plucky defeat and we get no luck, hopefully that changes next month

Like a typical home match with people sitting down passively, a ripple of applause for a goal. The passion form the two girls with the power cut was overwhelming Pretty horrendous viewing, aside from a disabled person most diversity boxes ticked which is very important In a progressive club like ours, although I do question why anyone would do this sort of thing,

But male with white tusks, white nose and white feet. Disgraceful

Perry doesn't seem to be a very good mascot. A male bull, who is white wearing white clothing. How does this reflect our diverse, inclusive country? Racism, sexism and lack of diversity alive and well. How depressing. Birmingham Commonwealth Games mascot announced as Perry the Bull - Birmingham Live (birminghammail.co.uk)

Might have been the Bristol Saints Supporters club?

Just out for my morning run, as I headed down a long stretch coming off a footbridge over a stream and the iPhone shuffle moved seamlessly from Pulp to Squeeze I noticed a small object laying at the side of the road. As I approached closer the lifeless body has a number of large patches of RED substance on it and round it, I soon realised the broken object laying battered and lifeless was a FOX. it’s our year

They’ve had similar laws like that for years though. There is one about if someone would be scared, no one actually has to be present and be scared but if someone where then that’s enough to convict. Similar with an agreement to commit a crime, that crime doesn’t have to happen, someone could even change their mind but agreement is enough.
