Maybe it’s because women’s tennis is a very high standard and attracts large support whereas women’s football is a shit standard and the top teams attracts crowds smaller than some conference clubs get. Why would it be ahead of the 2nd tier men’s league? What are the reasons and benefits? 2,300 fans watched Chelsea v Everton in the women’s league yesterday. My local league two club had a bigger crowd than that.
