What was the official attendance on Saturday?
Turkish replied to once_bitterne's topic in The Saints
I see many are stuck in the Dell sized mentality. We were assured there would be a mad scramble for tickets with new fans from all over the place looking for a club to support coming here for their fix of premier league football. -
I think you’ll find that this isn’t a homophobic chant. The originals of the chant refer back to the fact that Stamford bridge was originally an athletics stadium and also offered to Fulham before Chelsea took over the rental of The stadium. Hence the originals of the stadium refer back to the time Chelsea were tenants in a stadium not offered to them not built for football. Still let’s not let the facts get in the way of some handwringing

A champions league game played on a 4G pitch tonight but Harrogate and Sutton had to rip theirs up and miss out on significant commercial revenue to play in league two 🤷🏽♂️

I remember the days when we had ambitions with the league cup being beneath us the attitude being it was champions league or nothing. At least we got one of those two options. -

Dynamic pricing I believe it’s called. Stunning idea and completely flawless. -

Well in that case hats off to Bradford for getting it spot on. Saints take note you can get big crowds in a pandemic of the price is right -

FFS. I simply commented Bradford had 17,000 which is superb for a league two club in reply to someone else saying there were some good lower league crowds. I really am not interested in why or how. Banging on about how they compare to saints prices or pandemics or average cost per game is not the point in what was a very simple post. -

What the fuck are you on about? I simply commented about Bradfords attendances in reply to JRM saying there have been some good crowds in the lower leagues. It had fuck all to do with cost per match, pandemics or how affordable season tickets are. Just a comment about a specific clubs attendances in reply to a comment about good lower league crowds. As usual you’ve waded in and made a knob of yourself. -

What has that got to do with anything? -

Bradford had 14k for their last home games, 17k for the first game of the season. Superb for a league 2 club -
Maybe it’s because women’s tennis is a very high standard and attracts large support whereas women’s football is a shit standard and the top teams attracts crowds smaller than some conference clubs get. Yet it’s still advertised and promoted like it’s on a par with mens. I know you’re taking the moral high ground on this though whilst stalking me so you keep believing what you want pal.

what about people that get all hot under the collar about someone having a different opinion to them on an internet forum, are they dickheads?
-
You can see why Chelsea didnt want to sell. Enjoy him this year while we can.

I don’t have much to say about because as I’ve already said it isn’t that important to me and am not bothered about it. Only one of us went into a little rant and started having a dig at the other ones view on several posts.
-
Considering you got all upset the other days and stormed off in a little strop saying you weren’t going to engage with me anymore you spend an extraordinary amount of time replying to my posts
-
I mentioned it in passing as to how desperate they are to make it appear popular and other people waded in banging on about misogyny, trolling etc yet I’m the one upset 🤣🤣 And here we have another dick head poster behaving like the forum versions of the player waving the imaginary card under the refs nose 🤣🤣
-
It’s not important in your life but you’re regularly on an Internet forum getting very upset when someone has a differing view to you on these subjects that are honestly not important to you, honestly they’re not.
-
Not important in your life but everytime I post you’re very quick to jump on it telling me how wrong I am. Okay mate 🤣
-
It doesn’t bother me. I was simply making the point of how desperate they are to promote. It was you who got all upset going on about misogyny. Which is a weird thing post.

Why would it be ahead of the 2nd tier men’s league? What are the reasons and benefits? 2,300 fans watched Chelsea v Everton in the women’s league yesterday. My local league two club had a bigger crowd than that.
-
Not a poor start at all 2 draws in tough games and lost two games you’d expect them to lose.
-
I see on the sky sports app they’ve moved the women’s premier league as the next tab next to the men’s, ahead of the championship. They are desperate for it to be popular aren’t they

Horror injury that looked like his leg was the wrong way round. Not a red card though, it was barely a foul. Hope the kid is alright
