If they’ve left they wouldnt be part of the (but are still here) criteria now would they. This marks the 89th day in a row where you’ve tried to be clever and made yourself look stupid. Congratulations, quite an achievement 🤣

While the EU dithered, weighed down with red tape and bureaucracy we were stealth like and able to get the job done with the minimum of fuss. Some people are going to be really upset by this. I haven’t seen many retweets of articles about how much better where doing then the EU, with “quelle surprise” As a comment like we did during the All the reports about how terrible brexit was going to be. I wonder if all those who claimed they were leaving Britain after the referendum (but are still here) are glad they weren’t so hasty to up sticks now?

The two Consecutive seasons they finished 9th they were 8 and 16 points off the top 6. 12th 25 points below the top 6, 14th 21 points below the top 6. To claim they are always close to the top 6 every season for the last 6 years is simply not true. They’ve been in it twice in six years, the rest of the time in reality not very close. It wasn’t that long ago we finished 8, 7, 6, 8 in consecutive seasons. i know what point you’re trying to make and I do agree with you that at the moment a lot of players and the media would see Leicester as a better option then us and rightly so. They’re a brilliantly run club who have done what we try to do a lot better than we have lately. As said before what they’ve done is rather than try and buy cheap sell high all the time thinking they’ve cracked it and cleverer than everyone else they’ve spent big on quality and brought in some experience at times. As for wages their total wage bill isn’t that much different to ours, last reliable report I can find from 2019 shows there’s to be £6m a year more than ours, not a huge gulf when you’re talking £110m+. The difference being they’re paying it to in the main to a squad Of good players and not scared to pay their stars top whack, whereas We’ve been paying large wages to A load of players Who either can’t get a game or we can’t get rid off. the reality is they’re seen and are a better option because they’ve done what We do better than we have but they’re not miles ahead Like some make out, They also don’t have an owner pumping tens of millions in, never sell anyone, pay more wages or Never sign any duds or appoint crap managers.

I always had a chuckle when he mentioned his secret dossier of managers that were a great fit for us that he tracked for years, honestly he did, so we knew who we wanted to replace a manager they left. It was always such an amazing coincidence that the first choice at the time on that list was always unemployed

We love a double barrelled surname, he'll fit right in

I seem to remember when i called bullsh1t/spin last year when after one game against a crap championship club Ralph had gone from saying we had to bring in players at full back to being fine with what had i was shouted down on here and told that Ralph has no reason to lie. Seems i might have been right then.

Kane didn't make his premier league start until April 2014 when he was just a couple of months short of being 21. Before that he was on loan at Leicester, Norwich and Millwall. 2014/15 was his break through season though when he was 21.
-
Really? League finishes since returning to the premier league in 2014 are 14, 1, 12, 9, 9, 5. 2 out of 6 seasons in the top 6 doesn't mean they are an established top 6 team. They've also sold a lot of their best players off for big money, Chillwell, Maguire, Kante, Drinkwater (LOL) Mahrez, replacing them with cheaper players. The models aren't that different. The difference is whilst they replaced them mainly with good players, we replaced ours with shite that is still costing us. Also whereas we've tried to be clever all the time they've spent big a couple of times and brought some experience in when needed. Evans from Man United and Tilemans a great signing for £40m for example. They've also had a few duds and a few crap managers in that time too. There is this perception that Leicester have done everything perfectly all the time but that simply isn't the case.

'cking hell, they're talking about why BAMEs are the lowest % of races not taking up the vaccine, Rusty Lee, the voice of a generation, is claiming it might have something to do with a doctor in America 175 years ago who cut up black people without anesthetic leading them to mistrust doctors. Also apparently some muslims are saying to let god sort it out, which will please MLG.

Steve has changed his Facebook profile pic to that goal today, what a legend

I think the Obafemi thing is more due to his failure to live up to his standards, it seems like he comes into the team does alright and thinks he's made it so slacks off, been a recurring issue by the sounds of it. Slattery is a weird one, like you say last summer he came back in the shape of him life, spent the close season training at Golden Ring as wanted to make a crack at first team and gets left out then loaned out, clearly not an attitude problem here so strange. As for Jankewitz, he's not had a look in apart from his 15 minutes which given how highly rated he is seems very strange.

I think you're confusing yourself.
-
You haven't understood my post at all have you. I haven't given Goa credit for buying or selling any player.
-
I dont disagree with you and i'd rather we had someone else. However what we have now is a strong leadership structure, the best manager we've had for ages, an identity as a club which had gone since Koeman went and people righting the wrongs of the Kruger era. Getting rid of him, Reed and Wilson (okay i know the transfer guru was poached by Rangers but he was a disaster) has only be a good thing. The structure now in place is much better than it's been for years. Goa isn't responsible for signing Diallo, Ings, Walker-Peters, but he isn't responsible for signing Lemina, Hoedt, Carillo etc either, that was down to the incompetence of others here at the start of his regime, who thankfully he's got rid off.

Funny how none of these stories appeared when we were in the top 4.
-
That was Adebeyor. Lowe met him but pulled the plug on the deal as didn’t like his attitude. For Drogba we could have got him for £3m before he joined Marseille. Lowe said he was too similar to Beattie so refused to sanction the deal.
-
You said he could go out on loan if he’s desperate. Our club policy is not to loan out players. So that makes you
-
We have moved away from the loan system rarely loaning out young players and they don’t come back successful for us.
-
Over 7m vaccinated now and the EU squinnying like spoilt kids. Some of you just be very disappointed it’s all going so well.
-
Completely. Just had that air about him, all the things you say. I’m not really sure why we haven’t seen more of him.
-
I dont think many fans are level headed these days to be honest. They all want more more more more. We need to sign him, him and him, we need to strengthen here, here and here. It's never ending. I've never understood how we can be the only club in the premier league that has to sell players to sign them but it it isn't going to change, Steele has already said when reporting on the accounts that we need to generate funds to be active in the transfer market in the summer so i'm fully expecting one or two major exits. If we go back to 2014-16 when we sold high and replaced with god players then brilliant no problem with selling to buy, if we go down the 17-19 model of signing the likes of Hoedt, Carillo, Lemina and co then not so brilliant.
-
Hasn't he done that via Semmens and Steele?
-
Maybe it's me but i wasn't that impressed with him in either game. Yes i know he's only a kid and sure he has a lot of potential but for me the one player from the kids who has stood out has been Jankewitz, who in the 12 minutes or so against Shrewsbury had a lot more about him than any of the others. The others all looked much of a muchness, not bad but not great either.

Pipe down sunshine, all you did was copy us. Leicester have copied the Southampton model – Les Reed – iSPORTCONNECT

Awful from McCarthy.
