He struggled to last 70 minutes when he was here in his prime, no way would he have coped with the demands of Ralph’s tactics.

Lallana injured already didn’t even make it to half time

the tone of your MLG mode is no where near condescending enough, something along these lines is more accurate I'm puzzled as to why you would think that Saints would cover all of his wages. When Southampton send players out on loan only part of the wage would be covered by the other clubs, why do you think Saints could not reach a similar arrangement with Chelsea?

He has been built up for months by the media as some student of Guardiola, some Rolls Royce of a footballer that will thrive as soon as he gets on a bigger stage. He still might but the Hojbjerg that played week in week out of us was a hard working but limited player, certainly not matching what the media hyped him as.

Wayne Bridge was a local lad who had supported Saints since he was a toddler. Saints had just qualified for Europe with a cup final and a top 8 finish, yet he left. Unfortunately the romantic notion that he'll stay here forever because he loves the club and the fans is not reality for most players. We are supposedly talking to him about a new deal, lets see how that pans out.

If Fulham stay up and he plays a set amount of games. He wasn’t even on the bench yesterday is he injured again? i think Hoedt has a few options but we want about £6m for him which is stopping a permanent deal happening
-
Oh bless you’ve started following me around. You’re not very bright are you bobby. I’ll be nice to you in future
-
Haven’t our asking prices for Hoedt and Lemina priced them out of permanent moves? as for Carillo we’ll probably have to pay someone to take him

You’re in an NFL WhatsApp group and you had the cheek to say I was boring the other day

The Sunday Times - Southampton put up for sale at £250m
Turkish replied to The Odd Guy's topic in The Saints
My all time favourite Crook moment was when he tweeted that he understood we had no interest in Charlie Austin, less than 24 hours later he was announced as having signed. He also likes to block people on twitter who mention this. He's clueless. -

As we have been told we do not do any of our business in the media so i fully expect us to pull out of this deal now -

If he hadn't said anything about respecting a clubs history, just buying us and making us part of a poor mans City Football Group then everyone would be outraged that he has no respect for our history. -
To give this some perspective you need to bear in mid the level of defenders there means Wesley Hoedt can play for a top side in Belgium.

Is it racist and offensive to slag off Americans as well? We need some of our Woke posters to tell us. Calling aintforver and Soggy to the thread. -

Im not really sure why people are slagging him off already. He's certainly said the right things about respecting the clubs history, growing the club etc. I cant see too much wrong in what he's said so far. If we are at the centre of a Man City type structure i dont see that as a bad thing either. -

You can say what you like about Goa but at least he never made us part of a group of clubs -
Because it’s what I am

My source is frenziedly trying to track down what it going on with the illusive five pledges. -
makes sense, cash in now for a player on a decent wage and get him off the books or lose him for nothing next year.

No. He was a brilliant player and leader. He single handly turned around United 1999 champions league semi final against Juventus in the second leg, a real captains performance, even though he got booked and would miss the final. He didnt take any sh!t in the dressing room and was a top class captain with a relentless winning streak. Granted a few times he over stepped the mark so if you want to put that down to being a violent thug crack on, personally i think every club needs a leader like him.
